Ok! More blog-ish-ness:

After I got back on Sunday, I think I jinxed the end of the day. I’d gotten “Perfect Day” stuck in my head, because that’s what that whole day had felt like...”It’s a perfect day, and nothing can go wrong.” Famous last words? Yeah. I wasn’t going to write about this in here, but since Anna’s blog already talked about it, I don’t see the point in trying to hide it. Basically, a few of us saw a friend’s away message and freaked out because it was a suicide threat, likely by OD...and due to recent and not-quite-so-recent events, several of my friends and I tend to take those very seriously. Of course, there are still those who don’t, who’d rather try to laugh off the situation. I understand that in some ways...some people just deal with things differently. That’s not what bothers me about it. It’s the fact that on that particular night, one person (who knew about the suicide threat, so it wasn’t like they were oblivious to what they did) kept bringing up some really horrible events in a laughing, light-hearted way...and after I asked them to stop, they didn’t. *shudders* So as a result of that, plus the obvious incident I was trying to deal with at that moment, I got very very pissed off. I’ve never come that close to blocking a friend before. Anyway, we had Anna call the person who’d made the threat...but they had a bad phone connection or something...and then the person put on another away message, this time sounding like they were mad that someone had called to see if they were ok. Then, my parents made me go to bed early, BEFORE I FOUND OUT IF THE PERSON WAS OK, though in all honesty, they had no idea what had happened because I certaintly wasn’t about to tell them...so I was completely freaked...Nice night of flashbacks! Joy. I finally lulled myself to sleep with Corey’s image in my mind...Whenever I’m upset or can’t sleep, he tells me to picture him singing me a lullaby...and that always makes me smile. Then, the next day (yesterday), I found out nothing ever happened. Just a threat, no action. So that was relief...and yet not...because I was mad that someone would make such a threat and scare us like that...and then hearing one of my other friend’s parent’s reactions just completely shocked me...Even adults can joke about things like that?!?!

Not really anything else I feel like blogging about from yesterday...well, we got out early from band, which was fun because it meant I got more time with Corey ^^...so I’ll skip to today...

After school today I got to ride home with Corey (on the bus he made up a new kind of poke! a frap-three fingers in a triangle) and stay at his house for a while...We were supposed to stay downstairs where his family was, but they ended up letting us go for a walk around Lake Pine...So we walked there and just hung out at one of the picnic tables really near the trail to his neighborhood instead of walking around lol...and we got random people to give us weird looks, haha...So that was much fun ^^. Lol I think we’ve spent most of our time together lately playing the poke game...except we have to lose instead of winning...and we’ve even got sad puppy-dog faces for when the other person tries to lose...hehe. It’s so...comfortable. I don’t know how to explain it, but there’s just something about it, that while it’s not exactly “meaningful conversation” or something, and we do the same things over and over again, it never gets tiring or boring or anything like that, it’s still something fun and flirty and sweet...Yeah...I know it sounds odd...like I said, I can’t describe it right...just trust me, it’s great :-) Anyway, after the lake, we went back to his house for a while, and played with Sploot until we got told to go downstairs lol...and then we watched TV for a while and poked eachother some more...and snuck kisses while no one was watching O:-) hehe. So it was a fun afternoon :-). The one really bad part was saying goodbye...because we won’t get to see eachother until at least Sunday, most likely Monday...And considering how incredibly much I miss him already, I know that’s going to be hard, especially since we’ll have very limited communication during the rest of break, especially when I’m in Georgia. After I got home, I had to run upstairs and “compose myself” which rather surprised me...I’m definitly not used to missing someone so much that it makes me feel that shaken at leaving them for less than a week...but I guess it just goes to show how much I love him.

I was thinking earlier about the expression “falling head over heels in love.” Couldn’t it kind of be the opposite? Like, you’re head over heels already...and everything’s confusing and crazy and depressing...and you fall right-side-up in love? That’s really what it feels like...I’ve never felt this good in my entire life. For the last nearly a year, I didn’t even want to be around myself because I was always sad about something, and it made me into a much more quiet, reserved person at times...though I tried very hard not to let myself act like it. So, in turn, a lot of my words and actions became forced, and my personality was very false a lot of the time. But now...I dunno...the pieces just sliped back into place I guess...because I feel so much better...my confidence level is so much higher now it’s incredible...I think my dance teacher is a little surprised by my sudden ability to smile and talk during class lol...though I think she thinks it’s because of Megan, which is certaintly part of it, but there’s more than that...I even feel physically healthier...Last school year I think the only reason I didn’t gain a lot of weight was because I kept losing it from stress...but this year, I think my metabolism is actually higher, giving me more energy and generally just feeling a LOT better-I’ve even only been sick once this year! I know a lot of this is just because I got away from some of the really stressful things in my life...but I also think having Corey is playing a big role in it...Even when bad things do happen, I don’t feel nearly as horrible as I used to, because somehow with him there, it doesn’t seem nearly as tortureous. I’ll admit, I do still have occasional moments where I’ll feel some of the depression kick in...An awful one yesterday even, though that was probably brought on from the stress of the night before...but they aren’t as frequent and I can subdue them much faster...and most of the time, more fully, instead of just burrying feelings inside. I just feel...much more ALIVE lol...that’s the best way I can think of to describe it...Alive and wonderful and in love :-) I love you Corey and I miss you insanely already! *waits for Monday* <3 <3 :-D

I have to blog because I haven’t in a long time!

On Friday a couple of us went to see the school play, “The Robber Bridegroom,” which was....interesting! Lol! It’s a hillbilly musical thing that was incredibly amusing and fun to watch. Afterwards, Anna “casually” got me and Corey together for a picture...and then handed the camera back to Corey which made me laugh because they’d tried to make it sneaky and then did that...lol and before the play Corey, Anna, and Steven were talking and when I came up Corey’s like “shh” and they all got quiet...and I cracked up...not to mention Corey telling me ahead of time to remind him to bring “the glowing pear” which got an o_O from me haha....because “glowing pear” is the litteral translation from the German word for lightbulb...whew end of incoherant paragraph with run on sentences!

my discussion with corey after he read that paragraph:
Corey: haha
Corey: hey, what are yoo talking about, i just wanted some pictures of us ^^
Me: :P then why did anna crack up?
Corey: when?
Me: afterwards when she handed the camera to steven and then he immediately gave it to u
Corey: o i dunno, Anna cracks up at everything
Me: lol
Corey: right?
Me: i wont argue that point

On Saturday evening I had some people over at my house...a small group cause a lot of people went to the play that night...and that was much fun ^^. We were going to watch a movie but we ended up watching Trek instead...MY FIRST TIME EVER FOR SEEING AN EPISODE OF TREK! Haha...it was interesting...and I even used it later that night to make a Trek reference before Anna or Corey did! wOOt! After Trek we put on some music...and Rache played her guitar...and I tried to bite Zach because he wanted to turn off a funny song, but I never managed to do that because he chased Corey behind the couch so I followed O:-) Oh my gosh that night was so wonderful...there is absoutely no better feeling than being in his arms and cuddling with him...Love, security, pure happiness...and like a million times more than that...all mixed together so it’s just perfect. His blog is over there ---> I love his descriptions of it so much...and I love him.

On Sunday I went with Corey, his mom, his mom’s friend, his sister, and his sister’s boyfriend to Lenior (about three hours from here if you don’t know where it is) for their family gathering/early Thanksgiving thing...That day is practically indescribeable...I got to spend the entire day with Corey, so you know I enjoyed it immensely, but that doesn’t come close to really explaining it. We hung out in the backyard with Hannah and Brandon most of the time...well, not really with them, but near them...I’d look up every once in a while and see Hannah grinning at us, which greatly amused me...I think the only part of the day that was even the slightest tiny bit bad-ish was when Corey’s mom came outside without either of us hearing her...as we lay on the ground in mid-kiss we heard “Hello!” all of the sudden and I sat up really really fast and probably turned beet red lol. But she didn’t comment, except to tell us to come inside...so...yeah. lol. On the way back everyone was really tired randomly...Corey fell asleep for a few minutes and I almost did...He looks so incredibly sweet when he’s asleep...not that he doesnt when he’s awake of course...but I was just like “aww!” hehe...

Ok I have to go to bed in a few minutes so I’m going to try to paste this into blogger from the document it’s in now...and I’ll add more annother time hopefully soon!

Back to continue! And to correct myself because I was being stupid lol. We had dinner, and then, at the insistance of anna, some other people, and myself, Corey opened his presents before the movie. Anna and I were dying...omg...we kept whispering before he opened them because we were really anxious for him to hurry up! Haha...so we made him open other people's first, except Rachel's and Steven's because they were also hamster-related (some treats and stuff and this hamster-car thingie)...and then he got the hamster, which he named Sploot. Hehe...I think we were all passing her around so much that Corey barely got to touch her...Oh! I forgot to say this, and I think it's hillarious. Jill brought him cornbread on ice-litterally! :-D

On Sunday afternoon, Corey came over for a while before youth. We watched Mr. Holland's Opus...sort of O;-) (yes, I decided angels can wink)...and had an absoultely wonderful time together. I love him soooo much it's incredible. I'm amazed that this is such a short paragraph, but I guess it's just hard to put into words.

So then we went to youth...and Steven came to see Anna...hehe...and so that was fun even though like half of the people I usually hang out with weren't there...and that the only one I know in my small group is Hannah...but for most of the time, I was with Corey, Anna, Steven, and Hannah so it was still fun. We got to sing some new songs that the people who went to Pilgrimage learned...and laugh at the skit some people did because they were eating in it and when they'd take too big of a bite they couldn't say their lines and someone else would have to say it for them.

Mr. Rowe hasn't been at school this week...so we had a free period on Monday and watched part of Forrest Gump yesterday...both of which were fun because Corey's in band too ^^ and some of my other friends. Today we had a sub that actually made us play...he could sort-of conduct but it was kind of strange...but after a while, a girl from annother class came in and conducted instead so that was good. Free periods are much better though ^^ except that the reason Mr. Rowe's gone is apparently something about his daughter being sick...so that part isn't good...so I think he just randomly needs to decide to take the day off instead!

After school yesterday I went to the German Club meeting, because it was one where anyone could come, and Corey asked me if I wanted to. We learned GERMAN DANCING omg...it was very...interesting...I discovered I cannot waltz (yes, the AMERICAN waltz included...and the faster version of it that the Germans do) haha...but it was fun anyway. Aliana and Lena got picked out to do this cool twisty thingie as a demonstration. Oh, and we did the chicken dance! hahaha...and some random people were walking down the hall where we were all dancing...and they gave us the most hillarious "what the heck????" looks...it was great.

Weee...I think I'm about out of things to write about...I've been trying to procrastinate from studying but I guess it's time to do that afterall...oh! no! one more thing! WE WATCHED A MOVIE IN CREATIVE WRITING THAT HAS JOHNNY DEPP 10 YEARS AGO IN IT!!!!! *bounces around* :-D Benny and Joon. Oh, and Joon's real name is Juniper-dunno if it's spelled like that or Jooniper (we discussed the possibility of "Joon" being incorrect in the title on purpose for plot reasons) but I just found that really cool because that's one of my nicknames.

Ok, now that's offically all! Except my final words of the day: I LOVE COREY! <3

Weee I need a nice long entry...but I have to leave for dance in a little while...so this may have to be continued later. We'll see how far I get for now.

It's been entirely too long since I've blogged...so I'm thinking about what's happened since then. Ok. Friday a bunch of us went to see "School of Rock" which was a good movie...and I got to be proud of myself for picking up on some of the guitar stuff that Rachel confirmed :-D Anna and Steven looked so cute together that night! And of course the BEST part was that Corey was there...because that always makes everything absoultely wonderful.

That night I could hardly sleep because I was sooooo excited about Saturday! We picked Anna up at 3, and she and I went shopping for Corey's birthday presents. We went to Pet Land because I wanted to get him a hamster, and I wanted help picking it out, and she wanted to be there to help pick it out and to get her gifts for him. We found a cage with three adorable fuzzy hamsters in it...because all the other hamster's looked almost like gerbils, not poofy and fuzzy...and Anna and I absolutely fell in love with these two gray and white ones (wow I just argued with myself whether you can call a hamster white, because you can't with horses... *ignores self*) ...so we picked one of them out. They put her in the TINYIST box ever so I was really glad I brought a bigger one with us...seeing her struggle in the little box was heartbreaking. Anyway, then I got some food and bedding and stuff, and Anna bought some toys-a wheel, a GLOW IN THE DARK ball for her to run around in, which we both thought was soooooo cool, and these colorful chew stick thingies. Then we went back to my house and put all the stuff together, so the hamster could go ahead and run on the wheel if she wanted...which she apparently did haha; she stayed on it like ALL afternoon. We wrapped the cage in wrapping paper...which had a silver shiny side on the back...so the hamster kept thinking it was a mirror or something I guess...she kept looking at herself in it, and seeing more food on the "other side."

Then we went over to Corey's house. Haha, Anna dragged him into the LAUNDRY ROOM so my parents and I could get the cage in where he couldn't see it. Even though it was wrapped, we couldn't wrap the top so the hamster would be able to breathe, and we could hear the wheel squeaking even from the next room over anyway. Haha, he later told me he heard that and thought it was a bird. Then we watched Finding Nemo...and I have to leave for dance so I'll work on this later/tomorrow/sometime. Bye!

Allo again...Jen is bored in creative writing because she can't do the assignment until the weekend because she must first rent and watch the movie the class is analyzing. So she is blogging. And now she will stop refering to herself in the 3rd person :P

Ok! Time to catch up on recent things...Well, we went bowling last Saturday...I'm still amused that they have a bowling video game at the bowling alley...haha, and it's soooo much easier! Wee...I did bad (as usual lol) at the first game...and then Megan and I decided we were going to be smart for the next game and use bumpers! yaaaay!

Sunday I went over to Steven's house...AND COREY GOT TO COME AFTER ALL which made me very very very happy hehe! So that was fun. We watched "Labrinth" or however it's spelled. It was....interesting! Haha...I'd seen part of it before but I'd mostly forgotten it...for some reason it kept reminding me of "Grimlins."

Katie and Matt are going out now, and they look soooo adorable together! So that's a new couple for the group...and we'll see if annother one comes soon... :-x hehe...

Urm....what else has happened? We had Tuesday off from school but I ended up spending most of it working on my cleaning/organization of my playroom and room. It's going well but taking FOREVER because eventually I'll hopefully be rid of a ton of junk, and much more stuff will go to the attic...especially the far too many dance costumes I still have in my closet-all of them starting from when we moved here like 10 years ago...haha...Geeze, I think some of them are actually from Arizona...still in the closet...patheticness! (is that a word?)

Soon I get to give Corey his birthday present FINALLY hehe...I'm kidnapping Anna on Saturday... :-D O:-) :-x I'm sooo glad I've gotten to know Anna the last few months! I love you Anna-bean! I've lost closeness with so many of my friends lately...so I know I rather cling to Anna and Corey...but I'm just thankful I have friends (well, Corey=boyfriend but still a friend too) as wonderful as they are. I can talk to them about absolutely everything and we manage to make eachother laugh-or, in the case of Anna and me, GIGGLE-all the time...and I love them both for it ^^

Dododo...nothing to write...but I have nothing better to do than ramble in here...because I don't feel like studying for world civ even though I should since I did really bad on the English test so I've got to keep an eye on the padeia grades...and I ran out of yarn for the blanket I'm crocheting (but I found my needle/hook thing!...after going to buy new ones!)...Now I'm making myself feel guilty for not studying...maybe I'll go make flashcards. Bye!

I'm better! Well...almost. I have my voice back! And my throat is almost not sore anymore and I'm only coughing a tiny bit. And I've got ENERGY hehe. I got dressed in something other than pjs for the first time since Wednesday! :-D So I get to go bowling tonight.

I miss Corey insaaaanely! I can't even imagine being like Megan and James for the fact that they have to be apart a lot. I haven't seen Corey since Wednesday morning...and now he's at his dads. We keep having these arguments over who loves the other more or who misses the other more...hehe...It's fun and sweet...and we even argue with eachothers away messages! Look at this:

My away message: dinner...I MISS COREY THE MOSTEST TIMES INFINITY TIMES INFINITY TO THE INFINIT POWER SO THERE :P hehe. and even if he makes a bigger, number, i still miss him more
Corey: *chuckles* i dont think so
Me: i do
Me: :P
Corey: hahaha
Corey: i knew yoo were still there
Me: so were u the other day
Me: b/c it kept giving me the am everytime i said something
Me: haha
Me: but now im ACTUALY leaving
Corey: O:-)
Me: and i still miss u the most
Corey: nope
Me: yes so there even if i do win
Me: *leaves*
Corey: i still miss yoo more
Later, me, seeing his away message: no u wont
Corey's away message:dinner! and yes i miss and love Jen more , no matter what she says.
Me: nuh uh, i said it first

Hehe...I LOVE U AND MISS U THE MOST COREY!

And Anna's gone too. Tonight is going to feel odd-gathering without Corey OR Anna-bean! AHHH!

*goes off daydreaming*

I'm sick, I'm home, I'm bored, and the thought of actually trying to study is making me feel more sick. So...blog time!

I'm trying to remember what's happened since the Friday I wrote about last time...haha, wow, that was ages ago...umm...yeah my memory sucks when I'm sick, sorry...I'm litterally flipping through the calander to try to refresh my memory...

Oh, the night after the fair we went to Matt's house because his parents had a Halloween party and us coming got Matt out of babysitting lol. It was insanely last minute so Rachel and Megan were I think the only two to sort of show up in costume, but that's ok! We discovered he has SAVAGE GARDEN CDS! And Sara McLauchlin (McLaughlin? I've seen like a hundred ways to spell her name but those seem to be the most popular...) and some other good stuff, but Savage Garden had me and some of the others completely flipping out because we hadn't heard them in so long, especially the first album. Oh, and we watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. And I got to be insanely amused by Dave's TWO hickies...haha!

Last Friday was Halloween. I went to watch the first half of the football game...haha, ok, not really, more like I went to hang out with Corey and some other mb/orc people! And I got to see the last halftime performance, which was very very good; even the pepband from the other school said it was awesome. And I saw Mrs. Rowe (our band director's wife) and the baby...she's sooooo adorable, and she was dressed up like a pumpkin! The news even had a picture of her on there, which Mr. Rowe showed us later. The whole class was like "awwww!" After halftime Corey and I went to Aliana's party...which was fun despite a lot of not-fun-looking stuff that I stayed out of. Unusual for me...but I did...and I was sort of proud of myself for it and sort of very dissapointed in myself...so bah on mixed emotions. Anyways, everyone had on great costumes...gotta love Corey as "the Ninja Who Wants to KNOW" hehe...and Dave in a skirt that he made into a kilt was absolutely hillarious...Anna wore her Star-Trek costume OF COURSE lol. I know basically nothing about Trek so I forget what you call this but I bet if you look in the comments section below in a few hours, she or someone else will have written it in...she had this little fuzzy ball thingie that I think is supposed to be some type of animal...though knowing me I'm completely wrong about that lol...but it was cute and everyone kept grabbing it and hiding it from her or tickling people with it. Everyone else had awesome costumes too but it'd take forever to list them all lol...but I loved all of them! Somehow that I don't want to think about, Dave managed to rip Aliana's pants, which earned him the punishment of being chased by her mom ("the Queen") who attacked him with a stuffed animal fish *amused*

Saturday was Cary Band Day! I thought we were going to have a ton of us going...but apparently most people decided they didn't want to come afterall...so Anna, Marc, and I went. Apex did REALLY REALLY GOOD and I thought it would be between them and some other band that I forget the name of for first place on the field. However...somehow Athens won the field part by 0.7 of a point and Apex got second....and I have no idea where that other band came in. Not that the Athens mb was bad or anything. They were good marchers and the music sounded fine and they were all together and all that stuff. It just didn't seem all that interesting to watch compared to some of the others, so I thought they'd get more points off for visual effect. Anyway...Apex got second on the field, but they got first in the parade, a bunch of other awards, AND Grand Champions! So that was really really cool. But actually, I didn't find that out until the next day, so let me back up a little bit...

Anna and I rode together and met Marc there, and we watched all the 4a bands except Enloe, because we got there just as they finished. Then we went to the other side to see if Apex would go sit in the stands where a lot of the other bands went after they played. We waited a while and they didn't come, but some Athens people I know did. I saw some of them for the first time in over a year, some for the first time since last January, and some since this summer. So that was...incredible feeling. I miss them soooooo much! So we talked for a few minutes and I introduced them to Anna and Marc...and then the Athens people left...and we decided to go on an Apex hunt. We thought we were going to have to sneak somewhere to find them...which had me rather wary, being the innocent goody-goody person that I am... O:-) sometimes...lol. We checked near the gym and found some little kids that told us they were doing pictures and then going to the band bus...and Marc got into an argument with one of them because he swore he went to Apex and Marc didn't believe him. Of course, his shirt did say "Class of 2002" on it lol, and he was in like 6th grade...but he was wearing an APEX shirt, as I kept pointing out to Marc, which meant he was a sibling, so we decided he probably had some idea of what he was talking about. So then we went through the gate to where all the busses were...including part of Maynard that they had blocked off! And Marc insisted we could find them by what the truck looked like...in the dark...with trucks EVERYWHERE...instead of just waiting at the gate for them which was the only place they could come out of. But Anna and I went along with him and eventually I saw them a little while away, so the three of us took off after them. We saw Corey and Torie and Melissa and a bunch of other people we knew-erm, I knew and they knew some of from gatherings/pictures/youth-so we snuck up behind them...and then I pounced on Corey, because I was going to gomp him and then realized if I did, I'd probably knock us into like five other people lol. We all went back to see the rest of the performances, and on the way there Melissa ended up kicking Marc until his leg bled because he was criticising (sp?) their marching...haha, she warned him she was violent! In the stands, Melissa decided to do Corey's hair...with much protesting from him...but Melissa is very determined lol. So that was amusing...and then Anna took Corey's ninja headband and put my hair up...I accidentally ended up leaving with that...and yes there's a point to saying that, coming in a few minutes about crop walk...Anyways...so we stayed until like 11:30 or so and then left at the begining of awards because we didn't want Anna's mom to have to pick us up even more insanely late than it already was, plus traffic of when it was over. Anna's mom is so great though...I'm not really sure why, I just like her a lot...probably because Anna and I seem to be giggling CONSTANTLY whenever we're in the car, even more so than when we're not lol, and her mom actually joins in.

Sunday was nice and busy! We had crop walk at 3, but we met for registration at 2. Corey, Anna, Rachel, Ally, both Hannahs, and Ross came, so we had a nice big fun group. We ran around randomly doing things until it was time to leave...including watching Rachel chase a butterfly...and getting our picture taken...and then Anna decided to use the ninja headband to lead us around with. The catch? She led us WITH OUR TEETH lol...she put the headband in the mouth of everyone who was around at that time so we were a big chain of people looking like freaks...but that's the fun of it! *giggles* (Anna: I SHOWED YOU ALL OFF!) And Rachel named a tiny frog she found Mini Steven Hopper! It was cute...hehe. Anyway...then we walked around Lake Pine...by the way, the point of this thing was to raise money for the hungry, especially in foreign countries. We all found it really odd that they gave out snacks afterwards lol.

After crop walk...I went to Mahitha's birthday party! I had to go late, but it was still really great to see the Athens crowd. We watched a movie but ended up talking through most of it...haha...Oh and the most hillarious present of the night was part of what Laurie gave her: socks that said "How funky is your monkey?"!!!!!! We were cracking up at that. We went to an Indian resturant for dinner...and I felt special because I was the only one of the Americans that knew what I was talking about! Haha...and we determined that the symbol for "bread" is drawing a circle in the air with our fingers...don't ask if you weren't there for that...we were being randomly amused!

Since then...not much has happened...except Corey's birthday was Wednesday but I don't get to give him his present until next weekend...so I keep teasing him about it lol...which is what I'm doing now...except he's teasing right back lol. Not really anything else...'cept I'm sick..so I wasn't at school today and I doubt I will be tomorrow...but I'll be better soon and then maybe it wont take me over an hour to write a blog entry! haha

Saturday, November 01, 2003

Geeze I haven’t bloged in ages...Time to catch up! I told Anna I was going to bed...but I feel the random need to blog lol...even if I am really tired. And I feel like being detailed...so sorry If I bore you.

The fair was wonderful. I went with a group of nine other friends. (*comes back later because is realizing these events might be a little out of order...lack of memory or order...* but it’s close. So you’ll live). We went on this backwards spinning thing first...which was fun...and we walked around for a while...(yeah, I’m thinking we might’ve gone to the art exhibit at this point not later...oh well) and then the group split up a little because Steven and Matt wanted to go on this one ride (Enterprise) that Corey and I said we’d go on too. The problem was...lol...I didn’t realize exactly what it was until we were in line. I thought it was part of the ride next to it...like, they were one thing...and that was a roller coaster. Steven said it went sort of upsidedown but mostly sideways...so I assumed it was just part of the track of the roller coaster that tilted. I was willing to go upside down for a second or two like it’d be on a loop of a roller coaster. However...Enterprise turned out to be a ride where u go around in a circle...and the circle slowly becomes vertical. Once I realized that...meaning all you do is go in one big circle over and over again...yet about half the time you’re upside down...I realized that was NOT a ride I wanted to do. Yeah, so I’m a little chicken...and I generally have a very strong stomach for rides and such but I had the feeling it wouldn’t be for that ride lol. So I told the guys I wasn’t going. Matt tried to persuade me but Corey didn’t press it...which made me feel a little better...but then as he followed me when I walked off to stand at the gate I felt awful, because I didn’t want him to miss the ride just for me. I told him that and I told him to go...but he said he’d rather stay. I felt guilty for a little while, but of course he always knows the right thing to say. As we sat by the gate, he took my hands and said “Besides, someone has to keep your hands warm” or something like that (because my hands are always freezing lol) and it was really sweet...so I felt much better. Zach and Rachel, who had decided not to go on whatever ride the others went on, came by, and the four of us went on the giant swing ride instead. That’s been a favorite of mine since I was really little, so it was great...and *falls over* we discovered you can poke people while riding on that. We’re so insane...

The next ride was reeeeeaaaaaallllly cool! It’s called the starship. You go inside this circular room and lean against the outside wall so that you’re leaning backwards a little bit. There’re no seat belts or bars to hang on to (random thought because this is how I think at 12:30 AM: if you make that gramatically correct, ‘bars on which to hang,’ doesn’t it sound like you’re hanging from the bar like a monkey bar instead of using it for support?). The lights start flashing crazily and it looks really neat...and then the room starts spinning. I’m one of those people who must hold onto something when I’m in that type of situation (haha, like the Tower of Terror at Disney! I thought I was going to break Matt’s hand off even though that ride rocked!) so I had both of Corey’s hands...not that I’m looking for an excuse to do that anyway ^^. So we’re spinning and spinning, and it goes faster and faster, and then it becomes so fast that there’s a force field. We put our feet against the outer wall, and couldn’t have moved them back down if we tried. It was soooo awesome. It was very strange to actually feel my ears being pulled back and out though, lol...and the fact that when you’re spinning that fast, it doesnt feel like you’re spinning. And then we started moving up and down...which I had been told about ahead of time...but I didn’t realize people went at different times. So if I was up, the people on either sides of me (Corey and I think it was either Aliana or Dave) would be down...so that was a little odd...and it meant I couldn’t hold on anymore...so at first I kinda freaked, but the forcefield was so strong that I didn’t really need something to grip anyway. The ride slowed down...and oh boy, then I could tell we were spinning lol...I was on one of those “weeee!” streaks after that ride...which made the fact that I was insanely dizzy very interesting...I didn’t feel like I was walking very strangely or looked dizzy...but haha, I guess I did considering Matt came up and looked at me kinda worriedly and Corey had to guide me out the door and down the ramp or stairs or whatever was there. Hehe...much fun though.

Oh I forgot to mention too, we saw Tori and some of her friends there multiple times...haha, not anyone else that I knew was going besides our group even once...yet we saw them a lot. It was hillarious...we’re standing in line and all the sudden a blur goes by poking Corey and screaming “I WIN” and Corey and I whirred around...and there she was! So the rest of the night whenever we ended up at the same place, the poke wars continued ^^

We went to the art exibit to see Lena’s picture...she’s the foreign exchange student from Germany, and her artwork was incredible! It was a “scratch art” (steals that term from Dave’s blog since I’m not sure what to call it) of her as a baby.

Next, some people wanted snacks/dinner so we had an...INTERESTING...time with that...haha. A bunch of people took a lick of Rachel’s ice cream and since Dave got it after a bunch of the girls had, Rachel decided that he’d made out with them through the ice cream. And then there was the whole stealing cotton candy out of eachothers’ mouths thing...I have to say Aliana and Jill were the most hillarious at that. Ugh, and Dave got one of those fried milkyways...which he said was awful...it looked creepy lol...I thought it was a corndog at first; that’s how much breading these things had on them *shudders* yuck.

After that...we walked around and some people played games for a while. They actually had a DDR machine, which Corey (with much ‘persuasion’) were going to do, but the people ahead of us in line took forever so we gave up on that...so I just watched people play games; I’m not big on playing them myself. It was still fun though...just being around so many of my friends, and especially being with Corey was bliss.

Some people got some random souvieners...haha...Rachel and Aliana got these fuzzy hats...though Rache’s was for her brother...and Dave got a whip and fuzzy handcuffs which amused all of us...Haha, I bit the handcuffs at school a few days later...you can tell I’ve been around these people a lot lately lol.

Lastly was the farris wheel...and after this I should stop writing and continue later because the words are swimming on the page...Anyways. We were waiting in line when the fireworks show started, so that was pretty cool. And of course Corey made more incredibly sweet comments...*smiles at memory* When we got into the...what do u call the things in a farris wheel? Cars? Boxes? lol. Well anyway, we were split into two of those, and our thing had Corey, Rachel, Steven, Zach, and me. Corey and I were the last to get in and we ended up having to sit across from each other with the door between us...but it was still nice. The fire works finnally was while we were near the top, and the thing we rode in was litterally shaking with the “BOOM”s. I found out something interesting on that ride...who would think the future air force pilot wouldn’t feel comfortable on a farris wheel? Oh well...I just thought it was strange, but I’m sure there’s pleanty of irrational things like that I do too lol.

Weee...almost three pages in this word document where I’m typing this for fear of the internet freezing AGAIN...certaintly long enough for a description of one night! Haha. I’m exausted so I’m going to head off to bed...and hopefully update this more in the near future...with less details to bore everyone with? Haha, maybe! G’night!
