Weeeeeee I feel like blogging randomly...even though I have to leave soon to babysit...
Corey came home on Wednesday^^ which we were both very happy about! So he came over for a while...I had an absolutely wonderful afternoon, even if it did end entirely too fast since the roads were going to refreeze... Oh, and I was decisive! :-D I picked a movie to "watch" O:-) because both of us always try to get out of being the one to choose lol. So yesh, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets it was! Megans away messages and that survey had me on a HP rush! Weeeeeee...but of course that wasn't nearly anywhere close to the important part...The great thing was just getting to see Corey again and spend time with him...<3<3<3
Thursday, still no school, so I got to stay up and talk with Corey until about 2:30 AM online hehe...much fun...though I think all the happiness from the day just built up inside of me until I was insanely giggly and weird...I started laughing at something that wasn't extreemly funny or anything...and I couldn't stop laughing for like 10 minutes...and then had off and on laughing fits for a good while. Anyway, I got up that afternoon and did a very rushed gathering-planning...which most people couldn't come to because parents were working and such, but since I was under orders to plan one I figured I might as well lol. So after some argument with Mom, a couple of people came over...Did the usual DDR and a movie...lol not the belly dance one Aliana brought though!
Today we went back to school, with a one hour delay that was entirely pointless...I mean, it didn't warm up enough in the extra hour to make it not icy, so it was still pretty slippery on the stairs and such...better than no time off though lol...Pretty basic average day for the most part. I finished my scarf except for finishing the fringe and crocheting the two layers together, which doesnt take very long. And I'm babysitting tonight...lol for the same people as last time; let's see how long it takes to get Brendon to go to sleep this time! Hehe, I love it anyway though. Tomorrow's the "Snow Ball," the winter dance, that a group of us are going to...and I'm going to stop now because I've only got a little while before I need to leave and I want some time to talk to Corey ^^ <3 byeeeeeeee

I DEFINITLY SEE A HARRY POTTER SURVEY IN MEGANS BLOG *steals, grins*
When did you first discover Harry Potter?: 6th grade...my friend Ronnie prodded me to read them so I did...I think it was around the time that the 3rd book came out.
Book first or movie first?: Book
Were you hooked instantly, or did it take a while?: I really liked the first one but I was really busy at the time I read it, so I didn't get as pulled in as I would've liked...but by the time evil school projects went away and I re-read it and the others, I was definitly hooked
Did you instantly fall in love w/ any specific character?: Ron. I could blab on about how he foils Harry's character enough to move the plot along and adds humor...but I think I'd bore you. So yeah, I'll just say he's an incredibly adorable character that makes me laugh, in both the books and the movies ("Follow the spiders? Why couldn't we follow the butterflies?" *giggles* Yay for hating spiders!)
Favorite...
Professor: Lupin as far as the books go...but I think if I was in the stories, I'd really like Flitwick. I dunno why. Charms sounds fun and he seems like a good teacher.
Marauder: You seriously want me to pick between Sirius and Lupin? *dies* too hard! Sirius' charater is more developed though...but heh-heh not after book 5 i guess :'(
Gryffindor: Ron!
Slytherin: Draco Malfoy. yeah, he's evil, but what kind of a story would it be without an evil guy in their midst? Voldemort's too far away sometimes.
Hufflepuff: Uhh...Cedric for book 4...but since that's the only one he's really in...I guess Ernie can be amusing sometimes? We don't learn much about many of the hufflepuffs
Ravenclaw: I think Megan's about right when she said there's only like 2 Ravenclaws to choose from...and Cho just annoys me, or she did in book 5 anyway. Before that she was cool. So I guess I'll go with Padma?
Character overall: Ron :-D
How long did it take you to read...
Book 1?: The first time...probably like 2 or 3 weeks *dies* How did I go that long without finding out the ending???
Book 2?: Uhh...I honestly have no idea. I didn't keep up with how long it took me to read them back then...Though I do remember reading a ton of it at a sleepover at Rachels while Courtney read the 1st one and Rache either read or re-read (can't remember) the 3rd. I could seriously quote parts of our conversation *random memories*
Book 3?: I don't know exactly on that one either...Less time than either of the other two because by then I was getting pretty obsessive.
Book 4?: Less than 3 days
Book 5?: About 2 1/2 days, a ton of which time I spent babysitting and going crazy because the older two kids were reading it while I played with the younger kids so i was DYING to know what happened lol
If you were in Harry Potter...
What house would you be in?: As much as I'd like to say Gryffindor, probably either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I'm a scardy cat and a dork, what more do I say?
What would your pet be?: Off the school pet list, I guess a cat...gotta be something cuddly-ish
What would your wand be?: Urm...something with a phoneix feather
Who would you date?: I would have to say, if I go to Hogwarts, I'm taking Corey with me^^
What would be your fav. subject?: Probably Charms or Transfiguration...anything but potions, it sounds too much like chemistry
Other
How did you feel about youknowwho dying?: Uhh...did? He's kinda still alive? Yeah...if he does...well I mean, it's got to be him or Harry, and I'd certaintly rather kill off "you-know-who"...but either way means the end of the series, so that kinda sucks
What are your views on the Dark Lord?: Urm...bad? yesh...vury evil and horrible and bad
Weasleys or Malfoys?: Weasleys!
Normal blog stuff...Urm...not much to say...still out of school cause of the ice...and Corey's still in Lumberton but he's going to come home tomorrow hopefully, and come over here :-D <3<3...I havent been out of the house since Saturday...and the only time I've seen friends since then was when Rachel came over for a little while to see if I wanted to go sledding. Bah on ice :P And make up days, though I won't really care if we have to make up more days as long as Corey's here while we're out...I miss him soooooooooooo much....I swear every second I'm thinking about him...Tomorrow needs to hurry up!<3<3<3<3<3

*sniffles* I miss my Corey...and if you’re reading this you’ve probably heard an earfull about it so I’ll return to regular blogging...
Ok, must have a happier entry because I don’t like seeing my own depressing entries so I’m sure no one else does either lol. Well, to start with, what cheered me up last Tuesday was Marc telling me about the Broughten dance! He asked Corey and Anna and me to come...It sounds sooooo fun hehehe...I don’t really know why, but it does...and the best part because this made my weekend great: THE GIRLS WEAR PROM DRESSES! Hahaha...and Kelly (one of the Broughten people) told us about a great sale on them at Dillards...So Friday Anna, Amanda (one of Anna’s Cary friends who, like Anna, also needed a prom dress for YLA in a few weeks) and I went to the mall...They’d been there during the day for Career Fair and then got there like an hour before me since they’re closer...and then the three of us spent SIX MORE HOURS SHOPPING! *cracks up* And we had ice cream for dinner. I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING! AND YOU’RE RIGHT! WE WERE SOOOOOOOOO HYPER! Hahaha, it rocked! And we had fun taking pictures...even though in one store they wouldn’t let us because “girls like to come and play dress up” *rolls eyes* but everywhere else it was fine...Anna and I ended up with great deals on dresses from Dillards and Man got one from another store...Man=Amanda by the way, I thought she was a guy for like a month when I was only introduced to her online as Man...Anyway...So Friday was great...Then on Saturday, Anna and Man came over and we worked on hairstyles...Man is the hairstyle-master hehehe...SHE PUT MY HAIR IN BOING CURLS! That’s what I call them anyway...the kind u pull and release and they spring back up...SO MUCH FUN! And I think we scared Dan and Corey and other people as we waited on curlers to heat and set and such...I swear I’ve never felt this steriotipically-girly in my life! *Grins* It’s fun though...and we giggled SOOOO much, which felt nice...completely opposite of the school week...So yeah, maybe I’m not not-stressing like I promised...but it’s just a semester and then summer so it’s ok. Wow this entry just completely changed topics! Haha, yeah, I’m kinda tired and my grammer and sentence structure sucks, so I’m sorry if this doesn’t flow very well and such...
School stuff: Got a science project thing that was really easy...We had class time to work on it on Friday and I did all of my research then...and I finished it today so that was great...I hope all our projects are like that in that class...It would be very very very nice because we’re working on the stuff that always completely goes over my head...Chemistry stuff...blah...but my teacher hates chemistry so he’s not making us learn too much hehe...Urm...English...we’re almost done with Things Fall Apart and we’re supposed to have a timed writing for it on Wednesday but I guess it’ll be pushed back because of the snow...The last of which I did horribly on...so that sucks...oh well...In world civ we got a project that I need to get working on because we only have like a week to do it and I chose to work by myself...Math is a little better for the moment because we’re doing some things that we’ve learned before that I actually remember that it seems like a good number of people don’t, so I’m happy to have at least a temporary time where I understand things! Yay! Band...is normal band class lol...We’re doing some new theory stuff that I’m insane and actually like because it relates the chords I use for the pop band Rachel and Jill and I have...That probably won’t get to reherse until like summer break lol...oh well...anyway...
Thursday I had Godspell auditions...and Corey’s sister Hannah tried out too...lol they had us do some strange but fun things to audition...the acting part anyway, but they asked me to do the exercises even though I was just trying out for the chorus...We played some acting games and did some improv and then had to act out a scene...That calmed my nerves for a while...then we went upstairs to do the singing part...Oh gosh, I think like half of us up there were shaking...And when we went (one at a time) into the room, there was a table w/three people at it to watch...It felt so much like American Idol that it seriously freaked all of us out lol...So I did horrible, I was waaaaaay off time and off key a few times...I even told Melissa the next day I’d probably end up doing the band part with her lol...but I got a call Saturday night and found out I got in...haha the guy said they extended the amount of people they were going to have in it though, so I lucked out on that...Hannah made the chorus too, so I’ll have somebody to hang out with at rehersals that I actually know! Weeeee!
Today...It snowed. Well, iced mostly. Yuck. I like snow but ice sucks. And Corey’s stuck in Lumberton, SB’s stuck in Greensborough, and Dave’s stuck at his cousins (which I’m sure he’s happy about so I can’t feel too bad for that lol). No school tomorrow...So I did homework today anyway...including insanely early this morning before I went to bed, resulting in me not getting to sleep until about 4...Corey says he’s hopefully coming back tomorrow morning but my pessimisticness is trying to tell me that the roads aren’t going to be safe enough...but I really really really hope they are...I miss my Corey...a LOT, more than is possible to put down in words...I love you Corey...come home safe^^ *snuggles up to him and clings and really really really doesn’t want to let go* <3<3<3<3<3

Blah...Word of the day. Since when is blogging so obsessive and compelling that you spend time in class and everywhere else thinking about how you want to say things and what you want to say in the next blog entry you plan to write? Of course, I've forgotten most of my phrasing and everything else of the times from when this entry's been running through my head all day today...I don't even know if I want to blog, really, but I know if I don't I'll get the blog "craving" yet again...so...here goes:
Yesterday...Woke up, called Anna and giggled insanely for a while-until I realized I had to leave in like 15 minutes to pick her up...A relatively small group of us went to see Cheaper by the Dozen...good movie, though absolutely nothing like the book. Then I came home...did MORE homework, I swear I spent almost the entire long weekend doing homework, which rather sucked, but I wanted to get ahead for this week a little since I know it's going to be busy...Corey came home and I got to talk to him, which was wonderful...despite circumstances not being the best ever...but still wonderful as always. I missed him so much while he was gone, it was incredible...Anyway...Last night...I don't know what happened...It wasn't until I was in bed...and I just snapped. I don't really even know why...It's been a nice long while since I've had a breakdown, and it wasn't like there was something that set it off last night...All of the sudden all of my confidence just dropped...about everything...I've always been one of those people that looks for a purpose...and I don't like not having any idea what mine's supposed to be now. That's one of few good things I'll say about my time in psychology; at least I felt like I could do something. Now...I can't do anything. I feel pathetic. There is nothing I can do with my life-career especially-that I both enjoy and am good at. I can't write well enough to do something in that field, I wouldn't make a good English teacher because my vocabulary sucks and I'm doing awful on papers and things now, and I refuse to be one of those teachers who doesn't truely understand their subject, because those kinds of teachers always agrivate me. As for teaching math...yeah, I like math as far as a school subject goes...aside from this year...but basing my career on it? I dunno...I just can't imagine getting up every morning to go do math all day long. And with the way my grade in Algebra II is falling, it'd go back to the stuff about teachers not really knowing what they're doing in their subject. I want to do something I enjoy...but I can't think of anything I like to do that could be done as a career! Really, I can hardly think of anything I like to do at all...especially that I'm decent at. I'm really frustrated with school in general right now...School is seriously the only thing I consider myself good at...and now I'm doing worse and worse at that...I did bad on several math quizes, one of which I would've failed if our teacher hadn't decided to make one question a bonus one because so many people missed it...and I just looked over our review packet of things that I seriously should know by now, things I got right on quizes and understand, but I'm getting a bunch of wrong answers...I think I'm so worried about it that I'm causing myself to do worse than ever...My padeia grade is probably falling too since I haven't done so great on two of the three grades we've had so far this quarter...I don't know about science yet since we haven't gotten much back, but we just started a unit on things I've been taught for several years and still have yet to fully understand or absorb...
I feel awful about saying all this stuff...It's so stupid, nothing compared to what other people have to deal with, and I know that...I've seen a good bit of the bad stuff before, and this is nothing compared to any of that...It shouldn't be a big deal, but for some reason it is to me...
Today...urm yeah, continuation of last night throughout much of the day...worse since it was a school day and I got those math quizes back and everything...Lunch was horrible...I'm not even sure why, entirely...I was just in such a bad mood all day, from thoughts and from not getting much sleep...Lunch this semester isn't so great anyway...despite the fact that more of my friends are in it than last semester...somehow that makes us lose the closeness or something...I dunno...Maybe it's just that I'm always checking my homework at lunch or studying for a quiz...but even when we're out in the courtyard, I feel out of place...it sucks. Anyway, today at lunch...I don't even remember what was said, but something bothered me enough that I was like "today is not a day to mess with Jen," which I hoped would get the point across...most of them know me well enough to know what will bug me...yet they got into a suicide discussion...Which I finally asked them to stop, and they did...I even got a hug from Jill at one point...
i have dance soon and now i'm being much cheered up by anna and marc and people...hahaha...and I must eat dinner...so i'll write more later maybe. bye!

Anyway, today at lunch...I don't even remember what was said, but something bothered me enough that I was like "today is not a day to mess with Jen," which I hoped would get the point across...most of them know me well enough to know what will bug me...yet they got into a suicide discussion...Which I finally asked them to stop, and they did...I even got a hug from Jill at one point...
i have dance soon and now i'm being much cheered up by anna and marc and people...hahaha...and I must eat dinner...so i'll write more later maybe. bye!

Yay for blogging multiple times within like half an hour or so! This is from an email from Hannah (the non-Troutman one that I can never think of her last name!) and from Anna's blog! So I'm probably stealing some of Annas answers that made me laugh
***Personal Stuff***
1) Full Name: Why do they always ask for ur full name on here? I don't think I've seen anyone actually write their full name down, ever! I'm Jen *points to title of blog* -gasp-
2) Single or Taken: taken ^^
3) Birthday: 12-12-87
4) Sign: Sagitarious
5) Siblings: 20 year old brother-but he's at college so its all good
6) Hair Colour: brown
7) Eye Colour: brown
8) Shoe Size/Height: urm...usually around an 8...and I think about 5'5"
9) Age: sweet 16
****Relationships *****

2) Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend: yep^^
3) Did you send this to your crush: That's supposed to be for the email version...this way I'm technically sending it to everyone, if they feel like reading it lol
4) Did your crush send this to you?: Hannah sent me the email...*eyes 6'6" hockey player Ross (her bf) who I would be very afraid of if I said I had a crush on Hannah* *giggles*
**** Stuff****
1) Where is your favorite place to shop? I'm not big on shopping, not for clothes anyway...shopping for craft stuff and jewelry is fun though! I guess Kohls for clothes though, most of my favorite stuff came from there
2) Any tattoos or piercings?: ears (one hole each)
**** Stuff 2****
1) Do you Take drugs?: A. Who would admit that on the internet? and B. NO!
2) What kind of shampoo do you use?: Aussie ^^ it smells good hehe
3) What kind of conditioner do you use?: usually the Pantene stuff is what's in the shower, so that
4) What are you most scared of?: I'm always paranoid about losing someone close to me...It's better than it used to be, but I don't think that'll ever go away.
5) What are you listening to right now?: Well i SHOULD be listening to songs to try to figure out what to sing for the choir auditions...but I have no music on actually o_O Urm, the phone just rang...does that count?
6) What car do you wish to have?: I don't. I HATE driving. I just make people drive me around and it's all good. ***that was anna's answer and I agree...I took drivers ed (the classroom part) two summers ago and I'm still putting off the on the road part. I'm scared to drive, and I'll admit it :P However...I love the VW Bugs...they're so adorable hehe...esp this one that I saw thats like cool multi color metalic type stuff thats really hard to describe...I have nail polish that looks like it hahaha...its like blue and purple and green but metalic somehow, and they fade into eachother in the sunlight***
7) Who is the last person that called you?: urm...Melissa, yesterday, about carpooling to the church play info meeting
8) Where do you want to get married?: Urm...in a church...don't really care where though, as long as I'm with the one i love <3
9) How many messenger buddies do you have right now?: 141 on the hyperpoptart sn...theres a couple on other sns that aren't on there though, though many of them are insanely old and probably don't exist anymore haha...and many of those 141 are repeats of ppl; some of my friends have like 7 or 8 sns! maybe more, too lazy to count, but I think Corey has more than that and Jill too...
10)If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?: only one? uhhh....too many to choose from! I'd love to take away all my back/shoulder/neck problems lol and some other physical stuff...and then there's personality stuff...less selfish, more decisive, and probably like 100 other things lol
**** Favorites****
1) Color: when I was in elementary school I decided my favorite color was purple, and I refuse to change that because I hate change! Lol, well usually anyway. Point being, I'll just as gladly choose blue or aqua greenish type colors as purple, but I still call purple my favorite because I'm weird
2) Whats your fav. food?: hmmm anything chocolate ***stole that answer from anna too, hehe***
3) Boy's name: I'm not picky...I've always liked David and Michael though
4) Girl's name: Emily and Elizabeth are probably my favorites
5) Subjects in school: urm...well last year it was math...generally I like math a lot...but usually it's English...last semester was by far Creative Writing, and this semester I'm not sure...I mean, I like my english class and all, but I'm not like thrilled to go there or anything lol...maybe earth science, surprisingly, just because I've got a great teacher...and I always love band but what kind of band geek doesnt?
6) Animals: horses^^
7) Game(s): Hahaha, Anna's response was Clue, which reminds me of the time we spent several hours on google trying to find an online verson of that...that'd be sooooo cool...so yeah, I love Clue too...and also, oddly enough, Scrabble. I'm an awful speller with an awful vocabulary and I nearly always lose, but I love it for some unknown reason.
*** Have you ever****
1) Given anyone a bath: I've actually only had to once when I was babysitting...and she could pretty much bathe herself, I mostly helped wash her barbies' hair haha
2) Smoked: when I was little I used to go around puffing my cheeks out to show smokers I was holding my breath...haha, I was so convinced that'd make them stop, ignorant little kid...but yeah, can u really see me smoking? I seriously hope not...It's gross and I can't stand the smell of it. Not to mention the lungs we got to see at that science nutrition place in girlscouts years and years ago...they had actual lung tissue from a healthy person and a smoker when they died...the smoker's lungs were creepily disgusting.
3) Bungee jumped: i'm kinda afraid of heights unless i've got something to hold on to lol...roller coasters rule, and all similar things, but I can't imagine bungee jumping
4) Broken law: urm...school "laws" maybe? lol
5) Made yourself throw-up: *shudders* of all things I've studied about eating disorders, that is the one that creeps me out the most...probably because I'm rather freaked about throwing up anyway, considering the two times I have since 4th grade I've ended up in the hospital...So no, definitly not
6) Gone skinny-dipping?: nope
7) Ever been in love: <3<3<3<3<3 i am right now :-* <3<3<3<3<3
8) Made yourself cry to get out of trouble?: nope...i probably could but I never have...puppy dog face works for non-serious stuff though hehe
***Final Questions***
1) Do you like filling these out: I do when I'm bored and have nothing better to do and I'm hyper randomly even though its sort of wearing off!
2) How many people are you sending this to?: whoever reads my blog^^
3) Who will send it back: stupid stealing from emails ***that was anna's lol...and I figure someone else will be bored and put it on their blog too, marc was considering it a few minutes ago*
4) Chocolate or Vanilla: CHOCOLATE!!!
5) Gold or Silver: mostly silver...i like either, but I always wear the necklace I got from my grandma when she died, and that's silver...so I tend to mostly wear that to match...people thought I was weird when I wore the giant gold Indian bangle (like a bracelet) until it broke since it clashed lol
6) What is the last film you saw at the cinema?: The Haunted Mansion w/Corey was the last one I think...
7) Favorite Cartoon Character: urm...I was always a big rugrats fan when I was little, and still am when babysitting, so maybe one of those...or Ginger from Ginger's Way
8) What do you have for breakfast in the morning?: usually cereal...unless i'm daring enough to have POPTARTS
9) Who would you hate being locked in a room with?: I would hate being locked in a room PERIOD. And if there WAS somebody else in there, I would talk their ears off and use up all the oxygen and then we'd both die. So lets not lock anna in a room, eh? ****cracks up* that was annas, if you couldn't tell...sounds like me though! and there're plenty of people i'd hate to be locked in a room with, but i'm not going to say them on here lol***
10) Who would you love being locked in a room with?: O:-) who do you think? ;-) 'Cept Anna makes the point that we'd die from lack of oxygen...but maybe there's air conditioning coming through a vent, so it's all good hehe
done! bye again!

I seriously hope not...It's gross and I can't stand the smell of it. Not to mention the lungs we got to see at that science nutrition place in girlscouts years and years ago...they had actual lung tissue from a healthy person and a smoker when they died...the smoker's lungs were creepily disgusting.

10) Who would you love being locked in a room with?: O:-) who do you think? ;-) 'Cept Anna makes the point that we'd die from lack of oxygen...but maybe there's air conditioning coming through a vent, so it's all good hehe
done! bye again!
***note: I started writing this yesterday...I’m going back and trying to change it so the days make sense, but if I miss some, ignore me please...***
Blah...I’ve been debating between blogging and not blogging the last few nights...But now I’m actually going to.
Ok...so after the early-ended school day on Friday, we had a gathering at my house...which was much fun...and Dave and/or Matt fixed my DDR so it’ll actually save what I do now, which my brother had programed it not to do...After a while of DDR, we got to watch...dundundun....BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS! Omg, I’d only seen it once before then, but Rachel brought it...It’s the source of several inside jokes between the two of us, along with much entertainment...If you haven’t seen it, you should...It’s one of those really old Disney movies with real people, although there’s a part where they’re in a cartoon world...much fun. BUNNY! *giggles* Oh, and lots of people (mostly the guy) were going crazy when they sang...but it’s incredibly amusing to me for some reason.
Saturday...I don’t remember what I did during the day...but Corey came over that night^^ which was great as always <3<3<3 Oh, by the way, incase anyone’s currious about the reason people laugh when they’re tickled, it’s because a clown-eating monster breathes on them, and his breath is really funny because of all those clowns he ate...*giggles* yay randomness! Anyway, we watched Top Gun...which I found out we had on video...but it’s a recorded tape from when it was on TV...Now that may sound pretty normal, but what’s crazy is that we taped it in 1992! When I still lived in Arizona! And you know how Corey and I figured out the year? IT HAD THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RESULT UPDATES GOING ACROSS THE SCREEN! Between Bush Sr. and Clinton! That was SOOOOO weird to see...haha and we reminissed-reminiced-remanised-HOWEVER YOU SPELL THAT WORD-o Dena just told me *hugs Dena and keeps my bad spellings for pure amusement* REMINISCED-about old comercials, like the Double Mint Gum one and Big Red and a bunch of others...And we had a wonderful time^^ even though it was over waaaaay too soon... O:-) I so have my mom believing I payed attention to that movie...O:-)
Sunday we went back to youth for the first time since the Sunday before Thanksgiving for most people, the week before that for me since I was in Lenior with Corey and his family...And we even got Zach to come with us, which was surprising...Lol, I could tell he was trying to restrain himself from saying some things, though I caught a few muttered words...It was nice to be back in the church though...I’d missed youth. We talked a little bit about how we should do what God wants us to do...which sort of contradicts what I went through a good while ago...pychology stuff...yet over the last few days it’s had me thinking again, sort of...not about psychology, but in general...
I was starting to get a little stressed from school work...especially math...It’s not hard, but we have SO much work! Just this week, we had a quiz Monday, a test Tuesday, another quiz yesterday, and we had another quiz today! (***just changed those days and must update w/this***: I have a B in math *dies* I haven’t had a B in math since 6th grade, and then it was just because we had a ton of notebook checks and I did awful on them because I’m not organized lol. Argh, I was in SUCH a bad mood when I figured that out today...I thought I’d done really well on the test Tuesday, but we got it back today...I’m so mad at myself...I UNDERSTAND the stuff, I know how to do it! I just make stupid errors...one of the problems I missed is just because I said 12-1 is 13. Litterally EVERY problem I missed with the exception of the bonus was due to a stupid basic math error *falls over* So while I freaked after seeing that grade and starting adding up my average, I forgot to look over this one thing that was on our quiz today, and it’s something we went over in class really fast yesterday but barely even applied it in examples or anything...and it wasn’t on the homework...so I completely forgot what one of the symbols stood for. I remembed the U and upside down U from last year, but the sideways one left my mind completely blank...Bah. And since there were several questions on that, and the quiz was pretty short (under 10 questions I think, I can’t remember exactly how many) I know I did awful on it. So I was in a BAD MOOD in band...but I have wonderful friends who make me laugh and then I felt much better :-D Must do really good on test next Wednesday though.) Plus random nights where we get a ton of homework...which she takes up for a correctness grade...the other night we litterally had 90 problems, including definitions, 2 worksheets, and bookwork. *glares at teacher* Anyway, about the stressing part though...I basically just made up my mind that I’m not allowed to stress this semester. I don’t mean like I can’t show it, I mean I can’t feel it either. I’m taking a very different view than I normally do...more of a matter of fact “This is what I have to do for homework and this is what I need to study” view...instead of worrying...even with this math grade stuff, I’m more determined to fix it than actually worried or stressed about it, besides being annoyed with myself for doing stupid errors...and I’m making it very one step at a time-ish...and I figure if I continue with that attitude, I’ll be able to keep up with my grades so in the end it’ll be worth it. That sort of ties into the part about doing what God wants, in a way...I remember a while back, Anna and I had a discussion about how God wants us to be happy...and I know psychology made me miserable a lot of the time, so I’m still glad I gave it up...but I’m starting to see other things I can do instead. When someone’s stressing or unhappy about something, even if I don’t “council” them like I used to, why can’t I do other things to help out, lighten their load a little so to speak? Like the other night...Corey had a ton of stuff to do and I hate seeing him stressed and everything...And I knew he had a math test the next day and he took the German Exam thingie during the time his class went over one of the lessons...So I looked through it and worked through some problems that night and tried to explain what I was doing to solve them, and gave it to him the next day...Honestly I have no idea if he even had time to look over it before the test, but I felt better because I’d at least TRIED to help with something, even if it was something really tiny like that. *shrugs* I don’t really know what else to do for people, but I hate sitting around doing nothing when they’re overwhelmed with something.
Last night I went to an informational meeting at the church about Godspell, a musical play thing they’re going to put on...I don’t want to act, I don’t like acting anymore, despite my love of the plays I did in elementary schools, but I’d like to work on another part of it...There’s going to be a band, and they’re looking for all instruments to come play in it...If I do that, I’d go for clarinet even though it’s kind of weird, because I doubt I could play something too hard on piano...but I’m seriously considering auditioning for the choir. Ever since I was in elementary school I’ve wanted to do chorus, but band or a required elective always got in the way (*sticks tounge out at magnet elementary school with all those required electives, and at middle school for the computer elective and having band at the same time as chorus, and high school for also having band the same time (last year anyway) and not having enough class spaces for me to do both)...So if this is like my only chance to do some singing besides working with Rachel and Jill (not to be offensive to you guys, it’s just we haven’t had a rehersal in months! lol) I’d like to take it...which is going to mean some time commitment, but I think I can do it...The tough part is auditions! I need to pick a song and start working on it this weekend (a long one luckily) since tryouts are Thursday...I hope they have a big choir so I don’t have to worry about it too much, no idea how many of the people at the meeting wanted to be in the choir part...Jenny isn’t sure what she’s doing yet I think, but I know she’ll make it if she tries out for the choir, and I bet Meredith will too, if she doesn’t try out for one of the characters that is. I don’t know about anyone else’s voice though...I knew those two sing and the one guy that’s a singer in the youth band...Actually that’s about all the people I knew at the meeting lol, except Melissa, but she just wants to be in the band. Anyway...no matter what happens, I’m pretty excited about this...If I don’t get in the choir I’ll probably end up with the band, or doing some behind the scenes work...I’d love to do some more set design like I did last year for the school...It was so much fun...but they said there isn’t going to be a very elaborate set, and they’re not sure what the setting is yet, so I’m not sure how much there’d be to do on that. Weeeee...so now I have to pick a song! Sugestions welcome...Mom wants me to do Angel (Sarah Mclaughlin) but I’ve heard so many different versions of it that I can’t sing along to the cd without being a little off from her since she changes the rhythm and such a little bit each time I’ve heard it...which means I’d have to do it accapella (sp? it means without music for the people blinking at their computer screen right now...) and I’m not sure if I’d be able to do that or not...The Hand Song that Jenny did for youth last year is really pretty, and I’d love to do that, but I’m not sure if it has enough...energy? something like that...in it...I mean, it’s emotional...but I dunno...same with “Could Not Ask for More” until it gets to the bridge, which is like halfway through the song, and they’d probably cut me off by then...That’s the Way it Is was another thought, but I have to drop down an octave when it changes keys at the end, and I bet it sounds funny like that...*rambles* *shuts up to cease intense bordom of entry*
Weeeeeee! I know it sounds like I’m taking on a lot, with all the school work and everything...and still being clueless in dance...but somehow I really really want to do everything...and I swear I’m not stressing! Hehe...I started making a scarf (crocheting it) because Megan’s knitting made me feel like it...So I followed her advice of making it double wide so it can be folded over...and it’s getting pretty long already...and prettyfull hehe...and since crocheting is often a stress reliever to me, I think doing so much of it lately is almost keeping me from stressing...I dunno, it’s my random theory...*hyper*
IT’S A THREE DAY WEEKEND! I have no idea what I’m going to be doing, but I’m glad it’s one anyway...even though Corey’s out of town (waaaay out of town lol-Minnesota!) so I’m going to miss him tons <3<3<3, but I’m happy that because going to get to see a friend he hasn’t seen in years, so I’m sure he’ll have a great time ^^ It makes me think I should prod Mahitha this weekend...I haven’t talked to or seen her since halfway through December! And that was just the phone for like 45 minutes and seeing her for like 5 minutes...*hopes I don’t have to clean all weekend so I get to maybe see her*....argh unless this is the weekend with he dance thing...aaah I think it might be...Maybe not Monday though...We’ll see. Anyway, going to a gathering at Matt’s tonight...So now I’m going to post this and maybe do some homework or something to get it out of the way...except I doubt I will because I’m entirely too hyper (no idea why either, seriously, not the greatist day and no real reason to be insane...but I am! :-D ) to work on math or science or read for english haha...weeeeee! Bye!

Bye!

Well, today was the end of our first week back to school...I cant decide if it flew by or took forever, because somehow it feels like both. I definitly like my Earth Science teacher, though I've been warned by people that if you get on his bad side he's awful...but he's been really nice to our whole class so far, so I'm being optimistic^^. My math teacher annoys me for some reason, and other people agree with me, though none of us know exactly what it is about her that bothers us. I mean, aside from the fact that half the time it seems like she doesn't know what she's doing when she goes over homework, and that she gives a ton of homework, and never notices when I have my hand up for a question even when she looks right at me. (Today in class, Mrs. Sweeny: "Are there any questiosn? *looks carefully around the room, and I swear her eyes looked right at me* Ok then, moving on..." I just rolled my eyes and Scotty laughed and so did I, but still) Yeah, sarcasm, but there's still something else...I dunno. Oh well. Oh, I HAVE to write what we did in band yesterday...OMG this is so great...WE WATCHED PART OF THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE!!! Hahaha...yes, it's really boring and the movie is fake and corny and they sing entirely too much, BUT :-D I was in the play of it in 5th grade so it makes me very giggly and hyper and insane :-D and so I got to ramble about Jill and Marc and me and some other people that were in it...It was a joke for a while that Marc and I were married because we were in the play...He's going to hate that I wrote about that but that's ok :-D O:-) His reaction to me making him guess what movie we watched once he finally figured it out was "*DIES*" hahaha. We got Jill to sing the crazy "I am the Very Model of a Modern Major General" song this morning...which was much fun and I got to sing along way off key because I was hyper again :-D
I'm deciding not to care that this isn't chronalogical or organized in any way haha...
I'm kinda frustrated with dance right now...I mean, my brain is even more dead that normal this week because it's the first week back and everything, but everyone else's should be too...Even in jazz, I feel really far behind all of the sudden...I mean, I'm used to not being good at that compared to the class, because until this year it was mostly older girls and ones that are just really good...but this year we've got two people who've never taken jazz before and a third that's a lot younger than us...I dunno, it's not even that the steps are that hard, but my brain keeps refusing to memorize combinations, which is really awful when we have to go across the floor in groups of two or three, because otherwise I can just watch the teacher or someone in front of me. Tap's really hard this year though...I've tapped since I was three, but the last two years I've been dancing down because of scheduling...I've been mostly with people that've danced less than three years, last year there were even some beginners in the recital dance with our class...So a jump up to a high level class was really hard, but I thought I'd catch up...but it's a different style too...Our recital dance is going to be to "The Way You Move" by Outkast...not the usual tap style at all; it's rap so we're doing like hip-hop tapping almost...It looks really cool but I have a really hard time with it, plus the inability to memorize the combinations...I don't know what's wrong with me, the last like year and a half I've had issues with remembering combinations...Oh well...So I'm faking a lot of stuff until I can learn it, but my teacher (despite the fact that she's out all the time because she keeps getting sick) obviously noticed...We got our formation this week, and I'm near the center in the back, which means I have the most people infront and to the sides of me, so I"m nice and hidden...which is oddly kind of nice...but after two years of being (sorry this sounds cocky but it's just because I'd danced the longest) one of the best in the class, it just feels weird...I can't do anything right now, where as last year I'd help other people with steps *frustrated* I'd say "practice, practice, practice!" but I can't remember the combinations to practice!
It snowed today :-D so we got out an hour early...which meant I got a shorter math class so that was good...and we watched Pirates of the Carribean in band...and it was insanely cold outside and I ran from the bottom of the C building to the top of the A building outside after first period because I thought I was going to be late because I got out of Earth Science a little late because of a lab...you wouldn't belive how much weight *corrects self* "MASS" a wet paper towel can support, omg, that took forever hahaha...on the strongest one we had 3 cups of sand, a golf ball, a small rock, and around 200 paper clips on it before it broke! Yeah, anyway, so ran to focus because Mr. Lee is scary when you're late lol...so I got to see Corey for a few min ^^ <3 and then went and took an icky writing test thingie...It was like a practice writing test on the stories we read this week, but we only had the class period to write it and we weren't given the prompt ahead of time so I was like "arrrgh" when I saw it was about irony. There was a lot of irony in the stories, but we were supposed to talk about the theme and message and such, not talk about the plot...I made some really weird connection to racism and predjudice because the government in the story had a law that you had to be happy and this guy looked "melancholy" even though he was happy...so I got "don't judge a book by its cover" and then went off about Jewish persecution during World War Two, since the story was from around then in Germany...yay for run on sentences but my brain is so dead that I'm deciding not to care haha...So yeah, I think Mr. Fergison is going to think I'm insane but oh well...Hrm what else happened today...Scotty wore sandals in the snow *falls over* He's insane... :-D Corey actualy wore a jacket and long sleeves and long pants! Lol, I was like "yaaaay!" And now I'm bored. We need to do something today...I dunno how the roads are going to be later though, if they refreeze and w/e *makes face* I want to go sledding...except I'm tired so I want to go tomorrow haha...Though apparently people are talking about a snowball war today *falls over* I might skip that one...*hopes for alternate plan* I'm going to stop rambling now because the run ons and jumping around are even bothering me now haha...So I'll leave on the note of: I love Corey ^^ <3 <3 <3

Blah...back to school today. Not a bad day though, overall...aside from it starting incredibly way too early lol, since I've slept til like noon all through break. I think I'm going to like my science teacher, which is good since that's my worst subject...haha, even though he did make us do the dorky (yet everyone I know that's done this thinks it's insanely clever of them) thing where we have to put ourselves in order by birthday without talking...Which kinda sucked because I'm not near anyone I know and I sit alone at my table...oh well...Steven and Nolan and a few other people I know are in there, so it shouldn't be too bad. We spent the period trying to lessen the amount of time it takes to say the names of the people on either side of us (standing in a circle) while passing a tennis ball around...odd but fun :-)
Second period was normal, padiea...Oh but I found out our exam will only cover this semester :-D yay! Bah on writing tests that no one knows what's going on with...because they're supposed to count towards your English grade, but they can't for people who only had English first semester...but that's good because I'm hoping that means it won't count towards our grade because I never do good on those.
Lunch was...interesting...lol...we have most of "the kidney" together, except for Corey :-( , Matt, and Zach...so we couldn't find a table where everyone could fit, no idea what we'll end up doing about that haha...I just happened to say something about our math class to Scotty because we'd been confused because our schedules said we had a teacher who retired at the end of last semester...and I found out he'd gotten a new on this morning, just by chance because he lost his over break...and it had the new teacher and room on it. I dragged Dave to guidance with me (hehe because he's nice and I don't like going places myself and no one else would come with me-that is NOT intended to sound like he's a last resort :P I'm just saying he's the only one at the table that said he'd come lol) and I showed the lady my schedule and Scotty's schedule...and she freaked out because she thought our whole class would be in there the next period because they forgot to put the changes on the announcement...haha so Dave and I got to laugh at her reaction after we left...Then the rest of lunch everyone just hung out in the courtyard...lol wide range of emotions there...everyone hitting the highs and lows of hyper-tiredness I guess lol...Aliana was ecstatic because so many people had the same lunch though hehe, I don't think I've ever seen her jump around that much.
3rd period was Algebra 2...not as much confusion as the guidance lady thought there'd be luckily, apparently there were signs posted on the doors...Haha, we get to go in the "pod" once it's finished, which should be like tomorrow or Thursday...It's like a trailer building! It amuses me greatly...I think it has six classrooms, plus bathrooms and a water fountain...but it looks like a giant trailer! That'll be nice though, because it's right next to the bandroom, which is my 4th period, and we hang out near there after lunch too. Anyway, we took an algebra 1 review quiz thing in there...wow...my first reaction was "Why am I considering teaching this again?" haha...I couldn't remember how to factor some stuff, though I don't think I was ever really taught it anyway...My algebra 1 teacher's favorite thing was "trial and error" so we never got taught a bunch of stuff that would make it a lot easier...oh well. This teacher seems pretty nice, but I've heard she gives a lot of homework.
We had a sub in band today, so we had a free period basically. Sad reason though, Mr. Rowe's father-in-law died...Young too, I think Zach said he was only 57 :-( so Mr. Rowe's going to be out the rest of the week....I did some of my math homework and hung out w/people...*dies* I have to go from before school until 4th period now without seeing Corey...last semester I'd see him before lunch too.
So that was the first day back! I miss creative writing though...I hope I can take that again next year, it's so much fun even if I was a total slacker lol...Don't miss child development though, omg that was such a pointless class...If you don't know most of the cirriculum coming into that class, then you have no common sense whatsoever, at least the way our class was taught...Seriously, one of the questions on the exam was like "Which of the following is a good way to stimulate the intellectual development of a three year old" or something like that...and one of the answer choices was "take a long nap." *rolls eyes*
GO ME FOR NOT SLACKING OFF FOR ONCE! Haha, I actually did my homework when I got home! *proud of self*
This is a really boring entry but that's ok...you must be pretty bored if you're reading this anyway lol.

Blog time :-) because Corey and Anna are telling me to, hehe.
Friday night I babysat for the first time in ages, which was much fun...lol even though the 6/7 year old didn't want to go to bed...hehe, they showed me all their Christmas presents and then we watched Finding Nemo...and there was still like an hour before they had to go to bed, and the 3 year old was determined to see her Strawberry Shortcake movie, and since it was short I let them do that lol...Ah, the childhood memories of Strawberry Shortcake^^...They're such sweet kids...the three year old went to bed really easily, but her brother was another story lol. It was like 15 minutes after he was supposed to be in bed because it took a while to get Caitlin in pjs, and Brendon knew it was past his bedtime, but even so the first thing he said when I came in the room was "do you know how to play Sorry?" and I saw he had the board set up and everything lol...I had to explain why he needed to go to bed then, and that we didn't have time to play Sorry...and then he tried to show me his marble collection...*shakes head* oh and then we had to go on a search for a special night light, even though he rarely sleeps with one anymore, which we never did find and I know was just to stall bedtime haha...Finaly he got in bed, and I went downstairs and read for like five minutes when I started hearing footsteps...I called up the stairs for him to go back to bed, but he came downstairs instead and left an Etch-a-sketch thingie on the staircase and told me he'd written me a message, and for me to read it when I left...then he went back to bed...within a few minutes, more footsteps...I went upstairs and found him on the floor of his room, no idea what he was doing, got him back in bed, etc...back downstairs...then I heard his CD player turn on, but I know he sleeps with it sometimes so I didn't say anything...and finaly, like half an hour later when I went to check on the kids, both were asleep...although I almost woke up Brendon when I tried to turn the CD off in the dark, lol, manged not to though. *goes back and adds this later because I forgot* I never did figure out what the etch-a-sketch message said...It looked like "good bed" haha, so his dad and I figured it's either "good job" or "good bye"...It's hard to write with those things lol, especially for someone his age, but it made me laugh because I kept telling him to go to bed and it looked like "good bed" *giggles* Anyway...
Saturday night was Rachel's birthday party, which happened to be on Dillon's bday too...that was much fun...DDR and Whale Rider...Oh and she had a cool cake that looked just like her new guitar ^^ Oh, and I have to randomly say this: Rachel and I are such dorks that we both have our library card numbers memorized-and we wrote them on our cups! *giggles*
Sunday I didn't really do anything because I didn't feel too good...just worked on my room some more, which is almost done :-D
Today Corey came over :-D <3 <3 <3 I love him so much...words cannot express it, but it's the best feeling in the world...*daydreams* *stops daydreaming long enough to finish blog entry* hehe...So we put in a movie...one of the Indiana Jones ones, honestly I couldn't tell you the name or basically anything that happened in it, and I really don't care, because I spent the afternoon with the most wonderful person in the world <3 :-*
That's about it...*makes face* we go back to school tomorrow...I'll be glad to get to see friends and everything, but this semester's going to be crazy...I've got four core subjects *falls over* but it'll be ok...hehe I'll just have to stop my extreme lazyness and procrastinating...yeah, right, haha...knowing me I'll still be online just as much O:-) *insane* :-D

Weeeee Anna and Marc just helped me through learning to put pictures on here...so I'm going to put some here randomly! OK and now I'm back to edit this, because these pictures are HUGE but I cant do anything with them until I'm on the PC, so u can live w/them for now :P And now I'm editing and it'd better work! Haha, yay for Anna and html!
First, everyone has to see my cousin and her baby...because she's adorable! Hehe...This was from another of my cousin's weddings; me, Gabrielle, and Shannon :

The rest of these are from New Year's Eve...
Corey and I:

This one James titled "Corey the pimp" haha...He's the one in the back, obviously, and the girls from left to right are Megan, Jill, Aliana, Anna, and me:

Megan and James:

And a random picture of Anna! Just because it's the only other one I have from New Year's Eve, lol:

Weee...maybe I'll actually blog later, but that's all for now! Byeeeeeee!

Weeeeee HAPPY NEW YEAR! I just reread Katie's entry about how years just help us keep track of time, but it doesn't really matter since time continues anyway... Usually I agree with that. New Years Eve the last few years has meant I got to go to a party or a sleepover, and we were allowed to stay up late, make lots of noise, sometimes run around with sparklers (which I've been rather afraid of for a while now, so it's a good thing we haven't done that in a few years!), and all that good stuff. Honestly, it didn't feel much different this year in the fact that it's a new year, but I'm trying to make it into a "fresh start" kind of thing. So much of 2003 just sucked. Yes, nice and simple and blunt, and no elaboration, so all you anti-depressing-things-people don't have to worry, hehe. Anyway, things sucked for a while...and then, over the last few months, they got a LOT better. A lot of it was generally giving up psychology and also a lot of it was (and still is ^^) Corey. It's kind of funny when I think about it, because even other people can tell a difference in the way I'm acting...Jilly (gotta add the "y" for Anna, and Jilly won't read this anyway most likely hehe) said something the other day at the bowling alley...I forget how the subject came up, but somehow Zach and I were talking about optimists and pessimists, and Jilly was talking about how I used to be such a pessimist "but she's been really optimistic since she and Corey started going out." :-D So yesh, anyways, point of this paragraph: I'm liking this happy, more care-free version of myself a lot...so even if my "new year" started a few months early, I think my resolution should be to try to keep it up ^^ Oh, and Corey and I decided that we should resolve to be more desicive, but we're both seriously doubting it'll work, haha..."You're incurable!" "So are you!"
Weeee now for the section where bored people read about what I've done for the last few days! A bunch of us went to Corey's for New Years Eve, which was much fun, of course :-D I felt very clingy, but I decided not to care lol, since I hadn't seen him in soooo long! We just hung out and chatted for a while...some people played twister, which was *cough* interesting...especially when someone ended up with Anna's camera, thinking it was one of the guys', and took pictures of some of the girls' butts...That led to some interesting thoughts of what Anna's mom would think if she saw them before Anna could get them away, hahaha, poor Anna-bean! Oh, and we played a game that I think was called Imagineif...one word maybe?...I think we kinda altered the rules but that's ok hehe...We went around and put each person's name in a situation...Like for Dave, "Imagine if Dave were a crime. Which crime would he be?" and there were a list of choices...Everyone was thinking "homocide" until he read out the last one, "indecent exposure," which I believe was unanamously voted to be correct! Rachel called from the place where she's skiing, so we passed the phone around, including some over-the-phone Imagineif...A little later we watched XMen II...though hardly anyone watched all of it lol, a ton of us ended up talking and snacking in the kitchen and dining room instead...I got to (lightly) kick Corey's sister when she told us to "get a room," but it amused me. Pretty soon after the movie ended, it was count-down time...and then time to scream and make noises haha *cough* JAMES *cough* lol...He went a little insane with the noisemakers...Oh, I forgot to mention before, Megan brought these adorable tiarras and this thing thats like an antennae (sp?) headband, except they're covered in streamers...much amusement! So we kept putting those and James' sparkly purple hat on everyone...James took pictures and sent some to me, and Anna said she'd teach me how to put them on here, so I'll do that soon hopefully...Haha, one of them he titled "Coreythepimp" because I was clinging to him and so was Jill, so we got the rest of the girls to come and surround him too...it was great lol. Far too soon, it was time to go home...Omg I didn't want to leave...I clung to Corey for a while...and Jilly laughed at us because we wouldn't let go to hug her goodbye...though we eventually did...and then clung again...hehe...and then eventually I left...and came home and got online and talked for a long time haha...I think Anna was on til about 3:30AM and I was on a while after that... O:-) Hey, it was January 1st :P *makes excuses*
Yesterday evening Corey came over...we watched one of those Indiana Jones (I almost typed James Bond hahaha) movies...the crusade one...with the holy grail (no, not Monty Python :P). Hehe, we had lots of tickle wars...proving the other wrong at "I'm not ticklish" hehe...and he'd try to trap my hands so I couldn't tickle him because "tickling is bad!" It made me crack up because each time he'd say "no! baaad!" or something like that, he'd kiss me...anti-lesson-reinforcement! Not that I'm complaining O:-) ;-) So yesh, vury wonderful evening ^^
Today we went to see The Haunted Mansion...it was...different...lol, but not a bad movie, especially with the worlds most wonderful company ^^ Lots of spiders though...oh well, good clinging opportunity hehe...So that was fun :-D
Babysitting tonight, wow, I haven't babysat in forever...This school year's weekends have been mostly hanging out with friends, which meant I told a lot of people no for jobs, especially since they'd call like the day before >< but oh well hehe...Some of my favorite kids to sit for moved a while back, and I used to sit for them a lot, so I haven't had much to do since they moved as far as sitting anyway. So I'm going to end this entry so I can do some stuff before it's time to leave...bye!
