*wails* i'm banned from the computer because my wrists/arms are messed up...and now i'm typing left handed from school so ignore lack of capitalization...yesh. what do i need to blog about...other than going crazy from lack of instant messanger even though it's only been 1 day...wow i'm pathetic.

Hrm...well, i've decided to give up tap next year...i love it, but the classes never get anything done, and it'll lighten my scedule for next year a little bit. I'm also considering doing marching band senior year... not as a marcher, but Mr. Rowe's looking for some people to be in the pit (the non-marching percussion section) next year...so i'll hope he needs them the year after too because i'll have less core subjects senior year, so i'll have more time...and uhh a little more time to practice....i'm ok on bells and such, since i play piano, but i'll have to learn how to not look at the bells while i play...and heh-heh how to play any other percussion instrument *pokes marc*

You know, i'm probably the only person who doesn't bother capitalizing most of this entry, yet uses apostrophes...

Anna and I have definitly been doing some evil-plan-ness :-D we rock! hehehehehe more on that after the plan has been revealed...but no worries anyone 0:-)

Tonight I'm going to Davey's....much funness. Oh and Dave, if you read this before tonight...I'll still bring DDR if you want, but since I'm leaving early, it'd probably be good for someone else to bring it.

Saturday I have SATs...blah...but i want to take them now and next year incase i do better without the algebra 2 part or with analogies still there....my vocabulary is awful, but i'm decent at guessing...and i'm awful at theme questions, which i'm afraid they'll add more of next year. It's going to be interesting with my right arm messed up though...and writing with my left hand takes too long.

After the test, i'm going to a make-up dance class...and then maybe going with the class on a "field trip" to Burger King...yesh. Then for the best part of the weekend...best part of a long while really...Corey's coming over ^^ yaaaaaaaaaaay!

Sunday is our last youth meeting :-( so we're having a party, which should be much fun...i'll miss it a lot over the summer though...yay for ASP! Even though niw i'm more worried than ever about not being able to do much...blah.

i couldnt think of what else to say so Ashley Hutton says to write "Ashley likes Tyler." hehe

Stenen's complaining that he cant write as much as me :-D "I'm not complaining!...I'm just...complaining..." -Steven

And my arm hurts so....end of entry!

Back yet again! And by now, I've completly lost track of what's happened on a daily basis since last Sunday...so I'll put random little thingies from last week...
-we finished our jazz dance
-we've almost finished our tap dance but it's awful and only one girl really knows what she's doing, and that's just because she coreographed it. Not to mention that our teacher hasn't been there a lot, though she hardly knows our style of dancing anyway, but she has to be there to decide our formations. We just found out that one girl in our class, easily the best dancer of all of us, got the Teaching Fellows Scholarship...and the ceremony thing is the day of the recital. So she's not going to be in it...which means we have to redo some of the already icky-looking formations...blah. oh well
-pictures tomorrow and wednesday for dance classes-yay for less time at the studio even though that's one week less per class to work on the dances
-I have a B in earth science *dies repeatedly* what happened to my slacker class?! And as of interums I had a B in math too...but...i got a 111 on my test *dances* so now I have an A. :-D
-I don't know why I'm doing this in list form but oh well
-Friday I went shopping and got some more shorts and some tops...a cute tank top ^^ I skipped the gathering that night since it was at the mall, which I was rather sick of by that point
-Saturday we had a youth rehersal and all our voices were dying from the pollen, yuck! But I got to hang out w/my Godspell family...especially since the only one of our group that was there was Rachel, and she was with the band. You know what though? Hanging out with 6th graders is actually really fun...and that's not sarcastic at all. <3<3<3 to Cassie and Paige!
-After that I did homework...and went out to dinner w/my parents...and then to kohls to see if they had some more of the shorts that I like...They didn't, but I got some pjs and a really pretty skirt and a top to go with it. I skipped that night's gathering too.
-Then I proceded to stay up until about 2 AM talking to Anna O:-)
-The next morning I got up at 7 for Youth Sunday. It was much fun but everyone looked soooooo tired, especially since a lot of people went to prom the night before! I didn't cry this year, I'm trying to remember if I did last year...if I didn't, I came close...Barrett had me close to it this year too though, oh gosh...he was like half-crying, half-hiding it while his mom cried...because all the seniors had to give a speech...He's so hillarious though, he's in mid-sentence about how wonderful the church has been to him and such and all the sudden he goes "Mom, stop it!" because he could see her crying out in the audience...everyone cracked up, including her...but yeah...it was pretty moving, all of their speeches were really...I can't imagine doing that my senior year, I'd be a mess lol...anyway...yeah, that was Youth Sunday!
-I came home a while and dusted and cleaned up some stuff...and then we had a park gathering! First gathering I'd been to in like...2 months!!! We didn't really do anything lol, just sat on the picnic tables and talked and such...but I got to see Corey for the first time that weekend (He was camping) so I was quite happy hehe.
-Today...uhh not really anything happened lol...except a little scheming with Anna O:-) no worries there though hehehe...
-Random note: I've decided I've been ultra-emotional lately because I haven't had any chocolate. Honestly, I took like 20 minutes to eat a piece of white chocolate the other day because I was savoring it...and on the Hatteras trip, some of the chocolate-covered pretzles melted onto Corey's shirt, and it was really really tempting to just lick/eat his shirt...in the most non-preverted way possible lol. I miss chocolate *wails*
-Oh yeah, and I had a weird dream last night...I think I was at Rachel's house for a sleepover...but for some unknown reason, we were in the backyard and we had to climb up these waterfall thingies to get to some medicine...and we had to do this sneakily, because it was late a night so we didn't want her parents to know we were up...so we have this hard time but we finally get up there and get the medicine and climb back down...then her mom comes out and lectures us, not on being up late or anything, but about how stupid our plan was. All of the sudden the waterfall cliff thingies looked a lot smaller...and Rachel's mom broke off the top part with her hand, and it was a cookie, and she lectured us on how if we'd just broken the cookie, the medicine would've fallen down for us to catch. Yeah. Then we ate the cookie. Maybe it was a chocolate cookie...I dunno...I woke up craving crunch bars though.
-the end!

Well, I've got a few minutes...and I feel like writing, so here we go...more catching-up-ness:

Ok well I think I'm going to have issues remembering what happened each day in detail but oh well.

Still nice and paranoid about losing people...learning some different oppinions about the reasonings behind death...mmm...I still don't really know what to think about how the prayers work...but...I'll keep searching I guess...though it's going to majorly suck that after next weekend, we have no youth until school starts again...and without having exactly the most church-going family in the world (and yeah, that's a big understatement), it's entirely possible I won't be at the church all summer except for the ASP trip. I'm really looking forward to that...although at the same time I'm nervous, not just about my lack of skill in house repair and such, but about how much I'm going to be able to do...because...my shoulder and back and neck have not been happy lately...they hurt a lot just after a few hours of light work at Hatteras, so ASP will be interesting to see...and the last thing I want to do is look like I don't want to do things to help...it almost makes me think someone else should take my spot just because they could probably do a better job...but I really want to go, and so many of my friends are going...so I'm going to be selfish and go and hope for the best...and bring tons of advil.

and holy crap that 10 minutes I had flew by so now I have no more time to update, sorry! gnight!

16 minutes. Yeah, let's see how close to catching up I can get! Oops down to 15...

So we were listening to the lady talk and I was thinking about how prayers work...and it really bothered me because the last few days it seems like I'm constantly praying for my friends to be kept safe...I'm so paranoid about losing one (or more) of you guys...and you all know how active my imagination is...so I just kept thinking about how awful it would be to lose someone...and then Corey asked if I was ok...and he stroked me a little...and all I could think about was how horrible it would be to lose him...now or even much later when we're old...He's so wonderful to me...I took his hand and didn't let go of it for a while because the only thing I could think to do was cling to him...I had to when Ally got up to talk about Breann because I needed to give her a hug...and then I clung lots again. And I'm losing myself on the point I was trying to make...I'm confused about how things work now...because I keep praying for God to keep everyone safe and alive...but now I'm not sure exactly how He can do that...I talked to Anna about it some and that helped a little...but I'm still confused...and I wanted to ask at youth but I didn't want to cry infront of everyone and I knew if I started talking I'd be more of a mess than I already was...even Toby and a guy in our youth group were crying...ugh. We had lots of group hugs though...and I got myself back under control by the time we left because I didn't want anyone else to see me upset...meaning Corey's mom (she took us home) or my parents.

That's a good ending spot I guess...and I g2g in two minutes anyway...so...goodnight!

Back to continue once again!
Ok...so we got home from Hatteras at 3, so I took a much needed shower and did random stuff until youth. Youth was...hard. At first, I was so excited...I thought I'd get to see Anna for the first time since before I went to the beach, but she couldn't come because she had music man rehersal. I saw Cassie though, first time since Godspell ended, and they had Godspell lyrics on the overhead...and Jenny asked all us Godspell people to come up and sing with them...at which point Paige found me and so I kinda got glomped by her. We were all laughing and talking...and then Toby told us to sit down...and she looked really serious and almost a little angry somehow...and she told us that the meeting was going to be devoted to talking about Kassel and Breann. Ugh. I'd thought plenty about it over the weekend and the week before...I was really looking forward to a happy youth meeting. Oh well. I felt awful for Ally though...She knew Breann...so...she didn't have a happy reaction to that. Yeah. Enough said on that part.*huggles Ally* After singing some usual songs, we listened to a lady talk about how the accident wasn't God's plan because He wants all of us to live long, happy lives. I'd heard that before, but somehow I hadn't fully understood it...and it really made me think...If He doesn't want that to happen but can't prevent it because of free will...It makes me wonder...What's the point of some prayers then...Like, praying for someone who's traveling...how can He really keep them safe?

And arggggh I'm still not done but I g2g...gnight!

|
Back to continue!
So Friday night we had to be in our rooms by 11:30 with lights out at 12...well yeah, that didn't happen lol. Melissa and I haven't really had a long talk in ages...we definitly drifted a lot, though I think we've gotten to know eachother better again lately. Anyway, she and I stayed up really late talking about things...broad range of topics. That was nice...until the next morning when we had to wake up early lol. Dianne (the leader that roomed with us) came in at 7:40 and told us to be up by 8...lol Melissa's a heavy sleeper so I knew she hadn't heard that, so I made myself stay up until 8 because otherwise we'd never get up! haha...and then I woke her up with some random phrase about how she should tell me when my words began to enter her sleep-filled mind or something like that, I forget, but it was really weird. I had a really weird dream that I told her and Corey about...something about how Melissa was really hungry and so Dianne took her to this carnival/festival thing...of CHEESE lol. There was one of those things that looks kind of like a sideways farris wheel, like the Dumbo ride at Disney...but instead of cars to cary people, it carried giant cheese wheels. There was a long line and when you got to the front you'd tell the person what type of cheese you wanted and they'd spin the thingie around until the right kind of cheese got to them, and they'd cut you off a piece. Yesh. Very odd. Especially considering one thing I found out about Melissa during our long talk was that she doesn't like cheese...go figure.

Anyway...we got up and had breakfast and got ready and then went to get to work. There were a few different places that our group worked on, but only one required more than two people, and since Corey, Melissa, and I didn't want to be separated, we went to that site. The others were fixing a birdhouse, a door, and a leaking roof. We, along with some of the others, went to an elderly lady's house to help clean up her yard. Her house caught fire a while ago, so she's been living in a trailer beside it for a while, and the yard was a mess from the fire, Hurricane Isabel, and because...well, as she put it, she was definitly a nature lover! Wow. At first she refused to let us take anything that was still alive out of her yard. Eventually the leaders talked her into letting us take the thorny vines, a few tree branches that looked like they could easily fall onto her house, and to trim the ivy. However, we didn't realize that we'd have to leave all the driftwood because she liked it, or that we'd need to put some rotting logs that we'd put into the pile back into their places...apparently she thinks they'll stop a car from running into her house if there's an accident there. I really don't think they were big enough to do that, considering Melissa and I could pick them up together without too much trouble...they just wouldn't be heavy enough to stop a car. We had to listen to her though...so we put them back...And later we got to fix the fence! I don't know why, but the three of us are really proud of the fence...all we had to do was screw in some boards that had fallen off and patch a few that had snapped (it looked kind of odd, but she said she'd rather have them patched for now and get it fixed later, since we couldn't find a place to get lumber on the island)...but we were proud of it!

Oh yeah, somewhere in there we took a lunch break...where I was stupid and ate some fries and a little bit of ketchup...so I felt pretty bad later...but it was my own fault >< bad Jen.

We went to see the lighthouse on the way back to the hotel...which was pretty cool, since I don't think I've ever seen one before. Two of the leaders went up top and waved at us, but all of us decided we didn't want to go up that many stairs lol. Then we went back to the hotel, and most people went to the beach again...and again, Corey, Melissa, and I decided it wasn't worth it...so we spent a while talking and then wanted to play cards...but it was windy...and so we spent forever looking for a way to be able to play cards without us being inside since Corey couldn't be in the same room with us...Melissa wanted us to sit inside and Corey to sit outside the screen door and us just open the door whenever we needed to lol...but the wind still would've blown the cards around so we didn't do that...why we never thought to put rocks on the cards is beyond me, but oh well. Then some people came back to the hotel, including Dianne, who said it was ok for Corey to come in our living room area...so he did and we played cards for a while :-) and then went out to dinner. We went to a pizza place (I brought a peanutbutter sandwhich...but that was okay since I don't like pizza all that much anyway...I'll eat it, but I'd rather not unless I'm at a party or something) and ate and then went into the arcade thing in the back of it...watched/played some games...I made one of the leaders crack up when I jumped as the band started playing something really really loud lol...and then back to the hotel! We watched the end of Ms. Congeniality (sp?)(poor Corey! The last two movies I've seen with him have been chick flicks!) and I think that was when Melissa turned the TV off in hopes that we'd play cards again...but we didn't so she read while Corey and I sat there for a while...people randomly came in and out to get food since our room became the food storage area when the leaders found out they'd been given the wrong room and didn't want to have to move the food far and we were next door lol...hey, works for us hehe...and then at 11:30, Corey went upstairs to his room and Melissa and I fell asleep really fast because we were really tired lol.

We got up at 8 again on Sunday and got ready to leave...We had a whole discussion about how a rabid raccoon supposedly attacked Melissa's bag...yesh. Then we took some pictures at the beach, and left. I slept part of the way, did my homework a lot of it, and of course talked plenty too hehe...Oh and I just have to say this because I never knew this and so this is for Rachel if she didn't know: The Bojangles we stopped at had veggi sandwhiches! I haven't been to the Bojangles by our house in years, so I dunno if they have them, but this place did, and big salads too. Yumness. It was kinda like the chicken-twister minus the chicken idea...Lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a bun. But heck, for Bojangles it's a big difference! It confused me for a minute though...I couldn't figure out which side was the top! Then Corey and I figured out his sandwhich had two tops of a bun and mine had two bottoms lol...yeah I'm rambling allll about this trip, I bet you guys are really bored by now! Anyway...Corey discovered that straws zoom around in empty cups if you blow on them...and so between that and Melissa putting salt on everything we got some pretty weird looks!

Argh, still not time to finish recapping! I've got to go to dance...so I'll either update when I'm back or tomorrow hopefully! bye!

Monday, April 19, 2004

Allo...I've got 15 minutes, but Corey went to bed and Anna's either still at rehersal or doing hw...so I decided to blog. Hrm...last real update was Wednesday...I don't really remember what happened Thursday aside from after school I had more doctors appointments and then went and got some work boots and gloves...and it amused me that I had to get guys boots so they're a size 5 1/2. Friday...not much during school...except Katy came back for a little while, apparently for the end of her drama class and then the 1st half of band...She looked a little scraped up and was walking stiffly, but not nearly as bad as I expected...and she was acting happy. However...she was also acting rather "out of it" so you can credit that to the pain medicine in part...and I'd imagine after going through what she did, it'd be hard to know what to feel for a while. Anyway...so she wandered around the room for a while and talked with some of her friends...and I got up and gave her a hug and just said "I'm glad you're back." She smiled at me...kinda stroked my hair for a minute, which threw me off a little because I think I really looked ok...so...I dunno...and then she went on around the room...so I was a little shaken but I felt better at the same time.

After school, I went home and finished packing and then went to pick up Melissa A., and then over to the church! We found Corey and put our stuff on the busses and pretty soon left for Hatteras. The three of us ended up being the only kids on that bus (we took two) but that was kind of nice because it was a lot more quiet than the other bus, especialy after dinner. We stopped at a Hardees and they randomly gave us a whole bunch of bobble heads. It was really odd. And apparently the other bus had bobble head fights after that...very interesting. After the nearly 6 hour drive, we got to the hotel. It was surprisingly very nice, especially considering that we got to stay there for free. Each "room" actually had two bedrooms in it, along with a livingroom type area and a kitchen. Melissa and I shared a room, and the other two girls on the trip, Megan and Courtney (Anna, someday you need to tell me which one is which because I felt really stupid not knowing what to call them-though hardly any of the leaders could tell them apart either, despite the hair difference) shared the other room, and one of the leaders slept on the couch because I guess there wasnt enough space in the chaperone room or maybe they wanted a chaperone in each room. Either way, she's really nice and she's the leader of my group in youth anyway. So put our stuff in the rooms, and immediately a lot of people wanted to go to the beach. Keep in mind that this was like 10:00ish at night! And some crazy people were putting their feet in the ocean. Personally, I had to put my shoes back on after a few minutes because just the dry sand was freezing my feet lol. After a few minutes, Corey, Melissa, and I just went back and sat outside the hotel because the adults had given us a poem before we went down to the beach that just made me laugh..."The girls are red and the boys are blue, and there shall be no purple between the two." The point was for us to not go in a room of the opposite sex...but yeah, I found the poem really funny for some reason.

Guess what, it's past my bedtime...I'll try to continue this update tomorrow. G'night all!

Wednesday, April 14, 2004

No one is talking online and I can't just sit here...I'm really tired of feeling sad already...I guess I've gotten really used to being happy, not that that's a bad thing of course. Anyway, so I'm going to blog at least until someone starts talking...

Ok well now I just got an invite to a chat. Go figure. Maybe I'll do this anyway. Yeah. Basically...yesterday was awful...everyone was so sad and that made me sad...and really scared. I can't get these thoughts out of my head...I feel awful for the families and friends of all three...but I hardly knew the two that died...and Katy is physically going to be okay; she came home today and is hopefully coming back to school Friday...but...I can't help but be glad that none of my close friends were in that car...at first I thought that was selfish, but I bet everyone of you would agree with me that you'd rather it be someone you didn't know than one of your close friends, though it'd be better if it just didn't happen at all...I'm so scared that something will happen to my friends...I'm having a really hard time dealing with this situation...if something happens to one of you guys...I really don't know what I'd do. I cried so much last night...I'd forgotten what it's like to cry that hard...I finally fell asleep and slept for almost three hours...and woke up and cried some more, until about 3 AM...these images kept playing through my mind...and as rediculous as this sounds, some of the hardest to see were people's profiles...a lot of us put some sort of rememberance of the accident in our profile, from "R.I.P" to song lyrics to poems to bible verses to prayer requests to simply "remember." They're all beautiful and meaningful and sweet...but they just make me cry harder...It makes me think...would they really want to be remembered this way? In a way that just makes people cry...I wouldn't want everyone to be sad and scared if I died; I'd want them to enjoy the life they have left...but I think it'll take a while for any of us to get to that point...I can't decide if being told to always know I'm loved no matter what is making me feel better or worse...Better because it's normal to have that kind of reaction after someone is killed...or worse because it's realistic to think ahead "just in case." I'm already a little paranoid about my friends being hurt or worse...so...expect an extremely paranoid Jen for a while. Today was another sad day at school...and I didn't let myself cry but I came awfully close to it a couple of times...and then I came home and definitly lost it pretty soon...conversations and profiles...I don't know why I don't want my family to know I'm upset exactly...but I don't...Anna and I are trying to talk to make us feel better but we're both in tears now...So much has happened the last few days...The accident killed two people and hurt a third, along with changing the lives of many people...Besides the people that knew the three or the ones that are reacting to the concept of death, there were other people involved...Taylor thinks she saw the bodies being put into the ambulance...Dave's brother pulled Katy from the car...Unrelated but still horrible, Marc's dog and grandfather both died...Mitchel's house caught fire...Now Katy's being charged...this is all so awful! A lot of people at school seem really upset or shaken...I overheard someone talking about another accident that happened yesterday at the same place as the one the day before...I don't think anyone was hurt, but I guess the girl saw it...which scared her plenty, I'm sure. Ugh.

Not that any of this is anywhere near as bad as anything mentioned above, but I'm still going to keep up with my regular blogging too...Routine is best, eh? Ok...well...I'm very mad at myself in math at the moment because I did really bad on a test that I thought I'd done very well on, and did even worse on a quiz...so my math grade dropped eight points in one day. Yuck. Hmm what else...my legs are dead randomly which I'm deciding is either from crying so much or from a lack of protein or iron or something...Like, it's hard to just stand still because they don't want to support my weight. And I got dizzy again today, which I haven't in about a month...so I get to go back to the doctor tomorrow because they want to do another iron test, drawing more blood since the last time was just a finger prick...and they're going to change some medicine a little maybe...blah. Happier stuff: going to Hatteras this weekend for a church trip, along with Corey and Melissa and at least two other people...yeah not too many signed up lol, but we'll have fun, and that probably means we'll all get to stick together, which I definitly like! That's about it for tonight...bye!

Yesh, definitly need to blog! First of all, I must recap from that last entry for those of you who haven’t heard about the evilness of that night hahaha...Ok. Well, when Marc and I were in 5th grade we were in this play, “The Pirates of Penzance,” and since then it’s been a big joke between us...especially since we had to be “lovers” in it lol...and so Marc is always threatening to destroy my tape of it. But of course, Anna wanted to see it! So she and I plotted, as usual...and planned a “Trek” night for us and Marc and Corey *giggles* which, obviously, had nothing whatsoever to do with Trek. I borrowed Jilly’s copy of the play (she played my father in it, by the way) since mine stops after about 2/3 of it (Dad ran out of tape space) and Anna and I told Marc that she decided to make me watch trek, which naturally meant Corey and Marc and Anna needed to come since they’re so obsessed with it! Yeah...so Marc shows up and immediately starts talking about how he needs to find my copy of the play to destroy it...and Anna and I somehow managed to giggle without looking terribly guilty, and it was helpful that my copy of it was still on the shelf that he was looking on...and then we went upstairs...and Marc starts going on about how he knows the movie (Trek 6...I forget the name of it, I’m sure one of them will say it in a comment if you’re interested lol) like the back of his hand...and Corey said something like “yeah, I’ll bet you do...” that made Anna and me shake with laughter...Then I pushed play (I was actually smart enough to go ahead and put the tape in the VCR before they came) and Marc didn’t notice for a few moments since he was talking about Trek...and then he saw himself and tried to grab the remote from me...hahahaha...it was great. Corey’s line of the night was quite fitting: “hook, line, and sinker!”

So that was Tuesday...Wednesday was beach day! :-D I don’t really remember what I did during the day...besides packing...but I went to Coreys late that afternoon and hung out there and helped load the car and such...and then we went to the beach! Lets see if I can do a day by day recap...I might confuse some of what we did on which day but oh well.

Thursday we sat by the pool for a while and then went down to the pier for lunch and to play some games, since they have DDR (which was broken at that time) and pool tables and video games and such...The way the area is set up is really really nice, so we could walk there-a long walk, about half an hour, but it was nice outside and it’s all on flat ground with sidewalks. We looked around in the shops there too, since Hannah is definitly a shopper lol. They had some cute suits and such...all halters though, what is with the halter craze?! That night we went out to dinner and then hung out back at the condo and watched TV...I got to watch CSI for the first time, which my parents love, but it definitly grossed out Corey’s mom :-\ It was pretty interesting though...not that my mind was exactly focused on it considering I had Corey’s arms around me at the time...O:-) hehe

Friday was much fun-we decided to make a sand castle! We’d originally promised Anna we’d make a castle and name it the Cannastle after her...but the plans sort of changed hehehe. Corey had the awesome idea of doing something Trek related on the castle...which evolved into making the Enterprise ship! Except it was called the ANNAPRISE :-D and we wrote that and “NCC-42” on it *giggles* It was really really big too-though it should’ve been, after all three of us had been working for around three hours lol, but it was much fun. Hannah took some pictures and she said she’d get them on a CD, so when the film is developed I’ll try to put them in here. Anyway, after we finished the Annaprise, we just kinda sat around for the rest of the afternoon...Corey and I were tired...and that drove Hannah absolutely insane because she wanted to do something so we ended up playing a couple of rounds of cards.

Saturday we decided to make something in the sand for Hannah’s friend Taylor. She originally wanted to do a donkey, but that was hard, so we ended up making a soccer ball with her number on it instead. Then we were tired again so Corey and I tried to sit around for a while...but Hannah decided to make us go shopping again lol...litterally, she left and we had to follow since she wasn’t allowed to go on her own since it’s kinda far. So we went through the stores again and such...and I think we played a game of pool then too, still can’t keep the days straight.

Sunday we got up early since it was Easter. Corey and I decided to take a walk down the beach because we were going to a church service that was ON THE BEACH. I thought that was really really cool. We walked down past one service that was just setting up and got to the other one...where we found Hannah, who came to tell us that we were going to the other service afterall. So...into the car we went...and back to the service we’d passed before. Oh my gosh, there were sooooooo many people at the service...I think there were only two on the island that day...People brought beach chairs and towels and such to sit on...and we litterally took up the amount of space it’d take to fill like three or four large gyms, and people were decently packed in. I’ve never seen that many people at one church at one time. It was really nice though. After ther service we went back to the condo again...and then...dundundun...THE EASTER BUNNY CAME! *bounces like little kid, giggles* Corey’s mom made us each an Easter basket, which I thought was really really sweet of her :-) Then she and two of her friends went out to the beach for a while and Hannah went to the pool (how she didn’t freeze I will never understand) and Corey and I were left in the condo...-gasp- They actually left us alone! Maybe we’re trusted now? Anyway, so we hung out there for a while and then went mini golfing with Hannah and played some more pool and some DDR at the arcade place...much fun. Then back in for a yummy Easter dinner...and then we watched TV and played games for a while. Hannah found Candy Land in a cabinet, so of course we had to play that lol...and we played a round of Yatzee...and then went to bed. Goodnight’s were very amusing that night...I swear, Hannah kept me cracking up through like half of the vacation with her comments about Corey and me hahaha...ex from that night: “...and fix your hair, you look like you’ve been making out or something *rolls eyes*” lol.

Ahhh it’s almost my bedtime and I want to finish this! So this will sound kinda rushed:

Well we went home on Monday, not too much to say about that...I heard sirens right after they dropped me off at my house...of which I later found the meaning. An announcement came on at the begining of school today to tell us that a girl from Apex and a boy from Cary had been killed and another girl who’d been driving was in critical condition. I didn’t know the two that died but I knew the driver, Katy, and she’s in all but one of my classes....so today was hard. It’s been a while since I’ve cried this much and tried so hard to stop crying. We made a card for Katy in band though...I was okish until band...especially since we didn’t talk about it much at lunch and not in math right after...but band was really hard...I think, oddly enough, because I have so many friends in there, so I got a lot of hugs and pats...so it was a lot harder to keep myself from crying then. And dance tonight...oh boy...lots of tears all around. And then we decided to distract ourselves and dance...so then I was more okish...and then my legs decided to completely die out all of the sudden so I fell...and kinda stabbed my hand with my bracelt and I’m going to whine about it even though it’s a really tiny wound lol...and yeah it’s past my bedtime...so...g’night.

I'll probably write tonight after the trek-ness!

Pictures!

Oh my gosh...This was the grooms cake. Yes, that is a Georgia Bulldog on top of it! It was made of the cake and icing! *cracks up* It was so cute! Lindsey liked that cake better than her cake haha!

Me with Ellen and Hannah

I FINALLY got Jack to stand still long enough to get a good picture of him with me!

I love this one...All of us "children" together. That's what they call us-basically the ones that haven't gotten married haha, because it includes my brother (age 20) and two of my other cousins that couldn't come (ages 19 and 16). Anyway...from the left it's Jack, Hannah, Me, Ellen, and Gabby. I have this thing about how much we all look alike...especially Ellen, Gabby, their mom (my cousin Shannon) and me. In baby pictures, I doubt you could tell us apart-I'm still called Shannon half the time when I'm there, even though now we don't look that much alike.

I'M BACK! AND I'M TALKING TO COREY SO NOW I'M HAPPY! :-D :-D :-D I missed him soooooooooo much! Ahhhhh! I had fun though...and now you get to hear aaaaaaall about it!

Ok...well Friday was the rehersal dinner that I already talked about...but oh my gosh, Jack is insane...that's the four year old...He started off soooooo shy and then a few minutes later wouldn't leave me alone haha but he's adorable so it's ok. I just imported some pictures that I'll put in an entry in a minute...though it's taken me like an hour to do this much hahaha that's what I get for talking to people while I blog...anyway...That night I got about 4 hours of sleep because my dad snores REALLY LOUD lol...and then Saturday was the wedding...and the minister made me kind of mad because he started talking about how he doesn't like to discuss politics but wanted us to be sure he didn't like what was "going on in the media lately" and then immediately said how glad he was to unite a man and woman growl...Sorry, I just thought it was inappropriate timing-especially when Randal looked like he was about to collapse by the time Lindsey walked down the isle lol; I've never seen him like that...I guess he was really nervous! Anyway, aside from that bit, it was a really nice wedding...and then we went to the reception at another church near by because the one where they had the wedding was too small...Oh my gosh, a lot of you guys would love this church...when we pulled into the parking lot I was like "wooooooah!" because it was a reaaaaaaally cool looking, Gothic styled church. Yet it was Methodist. I have never ever seen a Gothic styled Methodist church but it looked awesome! Towers and really neat stain glass and everything! Lol anyway, so at the reception I hung around my family, mostly my cousin's kids...haha mostly Jack, at his insistance...He decided one of his new favorite things to do was to crawl between my legs...keep in mind I had a dress on...and so of course the photographer found this absolutely hillarious and took a picture hahaha...oh boy...It's amazing how rough the little kids can be lol...Jack decided to "shoot" me and wanted to shoot my teeth but i wouldn't open my mouth because I kinda didn't want his hands in my mouth haha...and so his reaction was to pry my lips open with his sharp fingernails...so I ended up with a cut lip lol but oh well...better me than one of his sisters; I can just see the fight that'd start...oh! I have to say what Ellen (9) taught Jack and Hannah (7) to do...She'll go "attenTION" and they have to stand up and salute her (left handed haha). It's great because the younger ones think it's a great game, while Ellen thinks it's a way to keep them from bothering her-she even makes them do pushups! But they love it!

That night we went back to my Aunt's house...the one whose son got married...and so I got more time with the little ones hehe...and I got to be the "horsie" for a while...on about four hours of sleep...but they're too adorable to resist...but finally Ronnie (their dad) and I got them to sit down and watch the Three Stooges, which, believe it or not, neither the kids or I had ever seen. Jack was in love with it instantly ("And the guy, he hit his head, and then he fell down and he burnt his bottom, and then he hit the other guy in the face and he hit the other guy in the face and he fell and hit his head!!!!") and Hannah watched...Ellen thought it was kinda stupid but since it was made in like the 50s that's understandable lol, and it was pretty bad humor...but that's ok...and Gabby didn't care since she was more concerned with the fact that she couldn't fit herself in her doll's grocery cart seat hahaha, poor kid! She kept trying to climb in but it was too high...finally Ronnie just set her in there so she could see how crammed she'd be, pulled her out, and put the doll in...So then she got the idea and zoomed her doll all over the living room...until Jack brought out the remote control car...Her eyes got sooooo big like "how is it moving!?!?!" haha...and she tried to use the remote but couldnt figure it out...She's only like...a year and a half-ish old, by the way. Anyway...we ate dinner there...and played a little longer and then the kids left with Shannon and Ronnie...and then my aunt re-taught me how to knit and so now I know what I've been doing wrong that no one can solve even though I swear I was taught a way to do it very similar to what I've been doing lately...but oh well, this works too lol. She also taught me about smocking...Imagine a paper fan, the kind that's been folded back and forth and back and forth over and over again...It's like that, except it's done using the fabric and it has tiny little folds on it...the folds are made by a machine (well, you can do them by hand but it takes forever!) and then you sew in a way that's similar to cross stitching...It looks very tedius but has a cool outcome, and she wants me to try to learn how...the problem is, you usually do it on dresses and such that you make...and I'm horrible at sewing things that complicated and I have issues with patterns lol, so every time I've ever made a dress or anything for myself, I just make a very basic one without using a pattern and just pin it around me every once in a while and see if it works haha. Anyway, I can probably do a sampler like she wants though...maybe someday I'll make a skirt out of it or something; I can make those decently...not sure how that'd work with smocking though since the bottom would have to be bigger than the top of it...that might look weird since I'm not sure that I could keep the folds going all straight down...hrm. We'll see. Anyway, somewhere around 11:30, when the game ended, Dad decided it was time for us to leave lol...so we went back to the hotel...and I fully expected Dad to wake me up by like 8 this morning...and instead, we slept until like 11! We were paranoid of setting the alarm clock because it was a REALLY weird design...and the first night it kept going off in the middle of the night and there was no button that would turn it completely off...the "off" button would make it ring again 30 minutes later! And there was a "nap" and a "sleep" and a "snooze" button haha we were so confused, and the alarm was set to like 8:30 yet it went off at 1:38AM. Go figure. Anyway, so we didn't set that and got to sleep in late this morning...and then drove home...and here I am! Yay!

Plans for the next few days:
-Do homework (notes for science, some reading for English)
-Reorganize bathroom
-Clean playroom
-Dust
-Work on goodbye present for Mahitha
-Maybe go get a zipper for Hannah's purse if I have time
-Try to have Anna over :-x she knows what it's for hehehe o:-)
-Go to the beach with Corey and his family :-D :-D :-D

Ok, now I'll go upload those pictures and put them on another entry...bye!

I just realized I didn't put one hillarious part of the evening last night...

When we were at the resturant I was sitting w/my cousins kids...and the waiter only saw me from behind I guess...and he thought I was their mom! He's like "but you look so nurturing!" *falls over* THE OLDEST ONE IS 9!!!

Zach: getting along too well with corey?

I can't believe this. First night of spring break and there is no one online at like 11:00!!! lol, oh well, i got aim working! sorta! its on a dialup connection so its insanely slow because the high speed thing wouldnt work, but i have instant messanger! :-D only at the hotel though.

I've actually been talking to one of my brothers friends for about an hour now. It's scary haha, we know very little about eachother and yet we're completely gossiping and telling stories-which have given me some interesting ideas. And we're making fun of my brother, so that's always fun haha. o_O and she sent me a picture of her brother that I haven't seen since I was in 2nd grade hahaha WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FUZZY HAIR???

I can't see comments on other peoples blogs from the blackberry but I can see them from mine. Go figure. So anyway, if I'm not on and you want to leave me a message, leave a comment on my blog and i'll respond there later lol, unless i get online.

OK now for a real blog entry, keeping in mind that I'm tired yet don't want to go to bed so this wwill likely have lots of run on sentences like the one I'm curently typing! Hrmm what's happened since Wednesday...Oh we got new seats in science...which made me happy because it was a random draw of seats and Steven and I are next to eachother and therefore lab partners and Mr. Thurston thought we cheated to get seats by eachother haha...but we didn't! And Ashely defended us so it was ok. Urm...we're almost finished with the dances we're doing in both of my dance classes...which is pretty cool considering our tap teacher doesn't know what shes doing...but oh well...and we have to coreograph 16 counts of our jazz dance in groups of 3 people, so I'm with Megan and another girl that I don't know the name of, who is only 12 and the youngest in our class, and yet Megan and I are basically letting her make up the whole thing lol. Ok so that wasn't after Wednesday but too bad. Today (Friday) I had a science test that I did awful on because I was lazy and didn't study but for some reason I'm always a slacker and that class and do fine so oh well...and WE DIDN'T GET OUR MATH TESTS BACK SO WE HAVE TO WAIT TIL AFTER SPRING BREAK! and as you can tell, that didn't make me happy lol...but we're now working on the stuff that I rocked at in Alg1 because my teacher was stupid and didn't teach us the quadratic equation until 2 days before the final exam, so I was smart and asked another math teacher for help and actually understood what I was doing! And so this unit makes me happy! Yesh I'm a dork. Anyway...I got to leave school early for my "orthodontist appointment" or whatever...aka driving to GA...but I luckily got a minute to say goodbye to Corey before I left since he won't be home from his dads until a few days after I'm back from here....but as long as weather is good it sounds like we're going to the beach Wednesday night/Thursday morning through Monday :-D :-D :-D And anyway back to chronological story telling lol-We drove to GA and then went to the rehersal dinner...lots of family...and I got to hang out with my cousin's cool kids...my "twin" Ellen is so great even though she's only 9...and Hannah (6ish) wasn't feeling well so didn't spend much time with her...and not much w/Gabby the baby because she's in her afraid-of-strangers phase so the most she let me do was hold her hand to help her down the stairs so she wouldn't fall. Jack though...he's 4, amost 5...oh my gosh...when he first got there he was soooooooooo shy and wouldn't come near anyone but his immediate family...and like half an hour later he was wild haha. He decided he was going to play a game with his straw and I was going to guess what it was...and I don't think he knows what "give me a hint" means lol...but oh well...the most hillarious one was when he just straightened out the straw, put it on his head horizontally, and asked what he was...and I told him that was a hard one so he had to tell me...and he's like "I'm George Washington!" *cracks up* I guess that was the wig?

I really really really hate not being able to have chocolate. Anna I don't know how you do this lol! *craves reeces*

I g2g since I've just been told I have to wake up at 8:30 tomorrow! Gnight everyone; I'll try to be online tomorrow-I think the wedding's at 2:00 so maybe I'll get on before that...Dinner at my Aunts tomorrow night but I'm not sure what we're doing between the wedding and that....and I'll try to get on when we get back from her house too. G'night!

Yay I can do something internet-related! I'm using my dads "blackberry" in the car on the way to georgia since there's no wireless stations close enough to get service from for the laptop. This thing is litterally about two and one-half (ahhh there's no slash key! No way to make letters uupercase either, except when it does it automatically at the beging of a sentence. Guess what, I just found the /. Its above the g...this is odd) by 4 inches! And yes I did measure it because thanks to anna I have a tape measurer! *giggles* it won't let me use aim or email though but I'm hoping I can read comments on this...other wise I'll just have my southern family to talk to for a while lol. Ok the road is bumpy and this is giving me a headache so bye for now and much love to you all!
