Yay update time:

Well, to start with, I didn't get the bell set, but I've found some others that start going off tomorrow that Marc and I both like, so I'll bid just before they go off.

Thursday exams were decent, though math was a little harder than I thought it would be. There were two questions I couldn't get answers for, and I had gone back to the first one of them and still hadn't found an answer when the teacher said time was up, so I just filled in "A" for both of them really fast. Band was pretty easy though stupid. We watched a video last Friday about music's history in different cultures and stuff like that...and that was what we were tested on, plus like 3 questions on theory. I had to know that a monkey dance is when people in Bali villages gather for dances. I also had to know that flowing Japanese music is called a gagaku. Random stuff like that, which had absolutely nothing to do with the year's cirriculum. But yeah, the only question I couldn't get was the first one, and not knowing the answer to it is really bothering me lol...It said "The type of music that requires specialized training is called ____." It was supposed to be something from the movie, but I had no idea, so I just put professional, but Mr. Rowe said that was wrong. Wow the most stupid little things like not knowing the answer to an easy exam can really bother me hahaha. Anyways, after the exam, a bunch of us helped Melissa make copies of music for people in marchinband to take home over the summer. Yay score order-ing :-D lol I'm weird and like doing that, and it works for Melissa because I think she'd rather me do it than her lol.

After school, I went home and ate some lunch, and then called Melissa. Omgsh she and I talked for ages lol, much fun. A little later I went over to Matt's house for an end of year party! Much fun. Corey and Steven and Zach had been there since school let out, cleaning and cooking and making trips to the grocery store. Sounded like they had a blast even if it was hectic lol. Corey seemed to have a LOT of fun with the chicken hahaha..."THE CHICKEN IS BEAUTIFUL!" and many other comments about plutonic chicken love *giggles* Megan said something about how James abandoned her for something, I think it was DDR, and I got to say, for honestly the very first time, "Don't worry, my boyfriend abandoned me for a chicken." Hahahaha not that he really did, but he had gone inside to get do something to it, and it was just funny. And *cracks up* as I write this I'm telling him about writing about the chicken being beautiful, and now he's comparing me to it except not. Anyway, so we ate dinner (mmm yummy pasta and really really good chocolate-filled cookies) and I watched a bunch of people run around with swords and other varrious killing items lol. I had a headache and was reaaaaaally tired from physical therapy and exercises from it, so I just sat and watched but that was ok :-) After a while, some of us went inside...and after a while Anna came! She was late because she had to go to a meeting about VBS first. So we all attacked her and she informed me that I'm helping her as an assistant teacher for the 4 year old class, which I was quite happy about because I'd be a lot more comfortable being in the same class as her! Anyway, so Anna and I ran downstairs to do a little planning for the hoopskirt I want to make her...and uhh see she wants a corset for it. And I have a weird kind of corset left from a dance recital a few years ago...but it looks more like a bra with a weird part at the bottom. And uhh well I brought it just so Anna could see what I was talking about...and that was fine when it was just us in the room...but uhh some ppl came down...and I just kinda left it lying on the table hahaha, waiting for a reaction. After a while Dave showed up and picked it up, held it up to him, and asked whose bra it was hahahaha. James put it on, though it'd barely fit and he had to wear it really low lol...and he and the other ppl ran off for a while with him still wearing it, stuffed with some yarn haha, so Corey and I were alone for a minute but we could hear them...a shout of "I don't want the first time I take a bra off someone for it to be you!" which made me crack up...I think Anna ended up taking it off of him. There was also much yearbook signing that night...including me accidentally handing Katie's yearbook to James thinking it was mine, so there's an entry to me in her yearbook now haha...And yeah that was our end of year party! So then I went home...w/a little err "souvineer design" *giggles innocently*

Friday, I went out to lunch with Mahitha, Vaishnovi, Amena, and Brittany, as a send-off for Mahitha. I gave her the scrapbook and we all passed it around and told stories. I brought my yearbook too, and had everyone sign it...It greatly amused me that Brittany wrote about which of the kidney members she thinks are hot. Britt had to leave at 1 because her family was going out of town...Honestly, her face when she was saying goodbye was enough to make me almost cry...but I didn't. Then my parents took the rest of us over to Dillard because Mahitha wanted to see her old teachers before she left, and the rest of us wanted to too. However...we got there at like 1:30 and went in the office to get visitors passes. Plenty of people from high schools did that on the last day of school when we were in middle school, so we assumed it wouldn't be a problem. Uhh...well the lady told us we couldn't go see teachers until 3:15 because school didn't let out until 3 (Last day of school=kids probably having free time to sign yearbooks *rolls eyes* that's what we always did in middle school). Anyway, so we were trying to figure out what to do because we didn't think we could get a ride for a while...so we were just going to sit outside on the benches and talk until we could come in...but oh my gosh, this other lady started yelling at us...she kept going on about how it was illegal for us to be on the campus during school hours and how we were tresspassing. She kept saying over and over "You're tresspassing!" and she seriously sounded really mad and scary. I asked her very nicely if we could sit outside on the benches since we couldn't get a ride, and again we were told "You're tresspassing!" It was like...we get that already! Omgsh...So we finally just went outside anyway...and Mahitha's parents managed to swing by and get us really fast on the way to their attorney for the closing on their house, which made them late to come get Mahitha's brothers from school later. So we went back to Amena's house since it was close and unoccupied. We hung out there for a while...and her mom came home from work about 3:05 and took us back to Dillard...where -SURPRISE- most of the teachers had already left because it was the last day of school! We got to see some of them though...none of the 8th grade teachers, mostly because few of them still teach there, but still...We saw Dr. Patel, our science teacher from 7th grade....it's amazing how much he's changed! He was soooo mean to our class, mostly becuase a lot of the kids in our class were horrible to him...I remember SB getting really pissed off one day and just walking out; she was in a different class but the story spread quickly...But he's nice now, and he's learned to teach a lot better from what I've heard from kids who've had him, including both SB's and Mahitha's brothers. He even asked me to tell SB he was sorry for yelling at her, just incase her little brother had never passed the message along. He appologized to Mahitha and me (yes Anna, it's gramatically correct) because he felt that we were very kind to him despite his bad teaching and bad temper and everything. We also saw Ms. East and Ms. Click...and I felt AWFUL afterwards because I didn't recognize Ms. Click and didn't say a word to her because I thought it was just one of Mahitha's teachers that I never had...She's lot a ton of weight and looks a lot different! Then we went to see Ms. Allen, who was wonderful, as always, and managed to remember me by name even though she hasn't seen me in years, and she's not exactly a young teacher, so I fully expected her to not know who I was. But yeah...she gave us both lots of compliments and such and ahhh she's just so sweet; I wish she'd come teach at Apex! She was my 6th grade science teacher, by the way, and I have never done as well in a science class as I did in hers, and I had a lot of fun in there too...we had a year long project that we got to name George. George was a random container full of green liquid in vials suspended in clear goo. Much fun haha. I remember teachers coming in and looking at it and going "what's that" and we're all like "THAT'S GEORGE!" *giggles* Ok enough reminiscing (sp). Ms. Causey and Ms. Colquitt had already left by the time we got to their rooms :-( but as music teachers I guess they didn't have to do much paperwork that day lol. Then Vaishu's parents took me home, but Mahitha told us we were getting together again before she left, so I didn't cry, which made Vaishu laugh when I announced it in the car lol.

Ugh both of my wrists are starting to hurt but I'm bored and I want to finish this so...yeah. *keeps typing* O:-)

I came home and found that a bowling gathering was in the process of being planned...and it amused me that Zach was going to plan it and then went "I give up" a few minutes after I got there hahaha, so I got to do some planning (As I've been told by multiple people, that's what I've been missed for since I haven't been at gatherings much the last few months, they've missed my planning skills and my house. Funny how I get "I missed you!" from like two or three of them and "PLAN SOMETHING NOW" from the rest hahaha). I called some people, including a person that I'd met for the first time the night before at Matt's...and I had to leave a message for her. I sound stupid on answering machines anyway, but it's really weird to invite someone you don't know to bowling hahaha oh well. She didn't end up showing up anyway. So Corey, Anna, Dave, Dillon, Katie, Zach, Steven, Scotty, and I went bowling...Anna and I got to use bumpers :-D yay hahaha we rule. I was crazy because I hadn't had breakfast, had a lot of sugar at lunch (blueberry muffins and icrecream and a salad...not that the salad was sugary lol...nor were the noodles....yeah), had an apple strudel thing for dinner that was really sugary and yummy, and then had fries at the bowling alley. How healthy hahaha. Yet I was all for the "evil plan" that was set to go get some icecream, but those plans fell through. I told Corey he can't win more than me until he blogs (full update, what he wrote tonight doesn't count) and that when he does, he can win more than me for three days of his choice. Lol yay bribery? I don't even know why I keep pushing him to blog, it's just become my obsession since he told me almost a week ago to make him blog lol.

I think I've been around too many Star Trek obsessors lately haha, because I just reread that sentence and read "borg" instead of "blog." I blame Anna but I still love her :-D

Today...Corey left this morning for his dad's house, but luckily he only has to stay until Monday, which is less time than what his dad said originally. So he'll have to miss the pool party but at least he'll be back earlier! *misses him already* Anyway, this evening I went to see Mahitha for the last time for quite a while...We went to her pool for a few hours...but I was really tired and they were playing pool dogeball, so after a while I got out and sat with Amena and some other people and played cards...Then we walked back to Mahitha's house...and I had to call my parents to come get me...and while we were waiting, it was awful, because we were both trying so hard not to be sad...I almost started to cry but she asked me not to because she didn't want to cry and she said she would if I did...so I made myself stop...barely...and my parents came...and we had a bunch of "last" hugs...and my mom started to talk to Mahitha's mom and was just talking about how much we'd miss them and for them to have a good trip and such, and she said something about how she was sure I'd miss them a lot too and everything...I was being kinda quiet...and oh my gosh, then mom started going on about how I'd miss Mahitha's mom's cooking hahaha, which at first was just kinda funny, because her mom is a really good cook, but it just went on too long and I was dying because I didn't want it to seem like the only reason I wanted to come over was because her mom was a good cook! Hahaha....but yeah...then we left...and did the whole "wave as you drive away" thing...and came home and talked to people online. I hopefully get to go visit Mahitha in India either next summer or the summer after senior year, in June, because we'll both be out of school then as long as she gets into the school she's trying for...We'll definitly both be off for June after senior year whether she gets in that school or not though. Brittany wants to come too, so that should make the long trip to and from India more fun too. The main problem is just safty...because a lot of the foreign airports have been known to not be very safe for foreigners, and that's not just a snooty American view, Mahitha's dad, who was born and raised in India, told my parents when I was supposed to go after 8th grade, that I shouldn't travel alone, that I needed an adult with me, so he was going to ride with me since he was only staying a few weeks so he could get back to work before the rest of the family returned to the USA. So yeah...I'm not sure exactly how that'll work; maybe he'll need to travel for business near here or something lol; I know he has to go to Atlanta a lot...we'll see. Vaishu get's to go see her over this summer since she's going back to India for a family trip anyway.

Plans for the week:
-tomorrow (err, today): sleep in and probably clean or something unless something is planned
-Monday-pool party for Memorial Day, except it storms every year so quite possibly not since there's already a possible chance of thunder storms lol...and Corey comes home that evening so maybe do something w/him or the kidney
-Tuesday: 9:00 help melissa make copies, 10:30 AM physical therapy appointment, go back to help make copies, home mid/late afternoon
-Wednesday: possible goodwill shopping spree? *pokes Anna, Melissa, and Rachel since I've already poked Corey*
-Thursday: physical therapy appointment 10:30 AM

Wow it took a long time to write this entry lol, about 2 1/2 hours! That's what I get for talking to people at the same time! Time for watching some TV and then bed. G'night!

It's going to be a hard day...the last time i'll see mahitha for years most likely. It's still just beggining to hit me that she's really leaving...I just got an email from Brittany about how much she's going to miss her...and I think that made it more real for me....I don't want her to leave. It's stupid and selfish, because I've hardly seen her this year anyway, and I know she really wants to go back and be with her friends and family and the customs she's used to...but somehow that's not all that comforting when I'm trying to think of reasons to keep myself from crying. We're going out to lunch and then to Dillard to say goodbye to some teachers...and she doesn't think she can do anything on Saturday...and she leaves Sunday. I'm just shaken...I've known about this for ages; she told me years ago that they planned on moving back after her sophomore year, but it's still really hard. She never gets online and rarely checks her email now, though she promises to be better about email once she moves...so that she'll try to check it like once a week, which is actually a lot better than before, odd as it may sound to us internet-obsessors. I almost feel like I'm scared...and I'm not really sure why...except that she's the last of the "innocent" ones kinda...I'm going to miss how much of a little kid I can feel like around her, despite how it added distance between us when high school made me "grow up" faster...I love looking back at pictures of us and seeing how incredibly happy we look...our eyes are shining and we're always grinning...I love her family too, it's been a true second home to me over the years...I always felt so comfortable going over there, even in kinda odd situations...like when I spent a weekend there because my parents helped my brother move into his appartment, or when we lost power and the ice storm and they didn't and Mahitha immediately told me to come stay with them...which I did...I've called over to their house before to ask to speak with her mom, asking advice about school projects and such, usualy having something to do with India, though once it was about having twins (child development paper) since Mahitha's 8th grade brothers are identical twins...who I've yet to be able to tell apart...I was ok when one had braces, except when they refused to smile because they knew it'd drive me crazy lol, but now I'm totally hopeless, especially since their names are really similar. I call her parents "Uncle" and "Auntie" because that's a common Indian custom...it makes them more comfortable and it's comfortable to me too. I'm really going to miss all that...though Mahitha still wants me to come visit her at some time, but I'm not sure when that'd be...especially because their school year starts just as ours ends (it starts like next week!) and ours is still in session when theirs is out....an India isn't exactly a place you go for a long weekend. So we'll see how that works out eventually...I miss her already though...It's going to be weird just to learn her new phone number, especially since I've never called out of the country before...I haven't the slightest idea how expensive it is either...She's hopefully getting a webcam though...and I might ask for one for Christmas or my birthday, but I need to find out how it'd work if I got one for the Mac...and then there's the whole 12 hour time difference...ugh. I hate change, at least most of the time...I just really...I dunno...I don't want her to leave, I don't want to even think about her leaving, but I'm going to have to in about 11 1/ 2 hours...I don't want to say goodbye...and I don't want to cry...but I'm hardly controlling myself now, so I really doubt I will tomorrow...I know, I know, crying makes you feel better...but somehow this feels different...I don't want to cry because I don't want to need to cry in the first place...and you know, I really don't want to talk about it with my parents either, and when they come pick me up I know they're going to...I really hate crying infront of them...not sure why...I think the last time I actually cried infront of them was in 8th grade when my grandma died...and I don't like the lectures...or talks or whatever you'd call them....where they try to make everything all better but it really makes me feel like crying even more.

I'll be home around 3:30 or something like that I think...and I'm not really sure what I'm going to be up to doing. I'm probably going to either sit around and watch TV and be sad for a while, or want to get together with friends and distract myself, or at least get some hugs...so if anything's planned, someone let me know please...I'll see what I feel like doing then.

OK it's bad when you're trying to blog and tap the rhythm from "All for the Best" (Godspell) on the keyboard. Yesh. But it's addictive! And I had to get "That's Your Horriscope for Today" out of my head! Lol I had a random CD on this morning with that...so that was stuck in my head until it became "Oatmeal the Snowman" hahahaha, which turned into "Wish you were Here" by Pink Floyd because Mr. Fergison put some of the lyrics as an answer to a question on our exam haha. Anyway *looks through past entry to see what I need to update about*

Saturday, I went to the movies to see Shrek 2 with some of the kidney...It was a very odd movie lol, and I think if I saw it as a little kid I wouldn't have understood a lot of it. It was funny though :-) Sunday night, Corey came over...unfortuantely not for very long, but any time with him is always wonderful so it was much fun :-D <3<3<3 The rest of the weekend was mostly spent working on my world civ review...We were given a sheet of terms and people, and I typed them all out and defined all but like 5 of them....so it ended up 8 pages long, single spaced *falls over*

Monday, I had a math test and a science test. Oh, but you have to hear how stupid I am hahaha...I worried about the science test over the weekend because I needed to have a good grade on ti...AND I FORGOT IT WAS OPEN BOOK AND OPEN NOTES UNTIL CLASS STARTED hahaha yeah go me. I had my first physical therapy session. I got to go swimming! haha in a pool thats like maybe 6 by 10 feet long. It's heated though and it has a current thingie so I can work against it...so I got to do weight lifting and walking and some streatches and stuff...and I was fine in the pool, but as the instructor guy told me, I was a LOT more sore once I got out...because of the heat difference apparently.

Tuesday....exam review day, much fun lol...I found out what happened in Twister O:-) hehe...we watched it in science...and I went home and studied. How exciting.

Today was the first exam day...Earth Science wasn't too bad, I just hope I got at least an 88 on it so I can have an A for the semester. Padeia was totally insane lol. In addition to about 200 questions, we had to do two full length essays. We knew the general idea of the world civ one ahead of time, so that wasn't too bad...but the English one...We had to read an EIGHT PAGE article in small print...and respond to it in an essay about the theme. First of all, I suck at theme questions. So when I read that I panicked...and because in the essay we were supposed to write about how the theme can affect our lives as well as the people in the story. I said the theme was acceptance and talked about how much better I felt last year once I found a group of friends to hang out with, and about how at youth if someone's sitting alone sometimes we'll ask them to come join us...since it's happened, err, twice, and it fit in the essay. Yesh. Anyone else have a different theme? Just currious...Anyway, a lot of people were still working when the bell rang, and I barely finished before it. Crazy!

So we got out a little after 12:30 (because it was extended since some EOC classes weren't done in time) and I came home, ate lunch, and went back to physical therapy. I got to use a bunch of weight machines and some free weights for my arms/shoulders...then into the pool to work my legs. I was tired and I decided going to dance would be pointless since the only person who really knows what we're doing wasn't there and probably like half the class skipped for exam studying. So I stayed here :-D

The bell set I really really want goes off tonight...and it ends at midnight so my parents won't let me stay up to bid on it, so I'm going to bid before I go to bed and hope no one bids over my maximum lol. Tomorrow I have math and band exams...the band one sounds soooo stupid; I'll describe it after I take it I guess. Then I'm going to Matt's tomorrow night for an end-of-year celebration :-D yayayayyayay for summer!

Which reminds me...my summer plans are set now. I wasn't able to talk my parents into letting me bring Corey to the beach...which sucks because I'd rather be with him than any other option I could have. But, I'm liking my current plans much more than sitting alone at the beach being miserable! Mom asked if I'd like to go to Atlanta while they're at the beach...My aunt and cousin and her kids that I talk about a lot live there...and they're great...so I said sure. Mom called my aunt, had barely said "Jen doesn't want to go to the beach" when my aunt said "She can stay here!" hahahaha I love my aunt! And she's an awesome craft person, so I can hopefully get some help on my latest project *giggles* which is a hoop skirt for Anna *grins* so what if it's crazy and I don't know how to use a pattern and randomly decided I should do the overskirt part crocheted? hehehe. And I'm sure I'll be put on kid-duty a lot lol, because my cousin and her kids live like 30 min or something like that from my aunt, and they love me...lol that doesn't sound conceited at all does it...but seriously....I'm very proud of the fact that my family was in awe of how Jack wouldn't leave me alone most of the time we were there for a wedding, and that he's never done that to anyone before. I think it kinda made Ellen feel left out though...because I usually spend a lot of time with her, but I couldn't stop watching Jack unless his mom was there because he's wild and would like kill someone lol. So basically, I'm still going to miss Corey 'corazily' in July, but I'd rather miss him while hanging out with my cousins then missing him while sitting up in a condo being miserable the whole time because I'd be alone and bored and sad. So I'm happier with this choice than my alternative ^^

Ok, time to post so I can go bid on Ebay for that bellset! *nervous* byeeee! happy end of school!

Lalalalaaaaaa I haven't the slightest clue what's happened since the last time I had a real update. Lemme attempt to think of things...
-I finally actually studied for an Earth Science test and got a 77 on it ><
-Yay for getting two points added to each class's 4th quarter average thanks to that sophomore test
-Last weekend Corey came over on Friday ^^ <3<3<3 and we watched The Jungle Book and discovered that the snake's voice is also the voice that does Winny the Pooh. Isn't that kinda disturbing?
-Saturday I had a dance dress rehersal and a band concert
-Sunday was the recital, and Corey came even though he was probably bored to death....and we massively messed up but oh well haha
-Tuesday we had a crazy insane end-of-year dance class and Corey and James came...and we thought we were going to have a party but we had to dance the whole time! It was easy review stuff, so that other people could join in, and we got the guys to do some leaps across the floor...but we (megan and I, sorry Meg, I'm just voicing "your" oppinion b/c i'm sure its true haha) love them very much for coming <3<3<3
-I went to see an orthopedist yesterday about my shoulder...and at first the nurse practitioner (sp?) came in and was awful and completely blew off like half the things I tried to say (ex: when I told her my legs hurt and would start shaking if I was standing up for more than a few minute at a time, she said I was probably just out of shape...and when I said it's only occured the last few months, she insisted that was because I'm "getting older...and we all know we have to work a lot harder to stay in shape when we get older" omgsh...lol it was really weird...she also blew off my dads comments about how he has a shoulder problem w/almost the exact same symptoms, b/c she insisted it cant happen when you're 16-GUESS WHAT AGE MY DAD STARTED HAVING SYMPTOMS lol) but then the doctor came in and took some xrays and a bunch of stuff, and came up with some things for me to try in physical therapy...which I do twice a week for a few weeks starting monday, and what happens from there depends if I get better or worse, since apparently it could make either one happen, but it'll help rule out what's wrong. I probably get to go see a rhumatologist too. Then I got to go to the hospital and have some blood work done...Luckily I asked Mom to stop on the way over and get me a lemonade, since it was almost 5 and I hadn't eaten since 10:30...and I was already a little shaky by then from low blood sugar...and then I got to have 4 vials of blood drawn. It's been a while since they've taken that much blood at one time lol. Mom saw the lady get the vials out, and just got up and left the room, which kinda amused me. Anyway, only some of the tests are back now, and it says I've got a kinda high seds rate or something like that, which basically means I have inflamation, but it's not like crazy-high or anything.
-We got yummy biscotti in Padeia today since Melissa H's group did italy :-D
-I need to STUDY for exams this weekend lol. I think ppl are going skating tonight at Jellybeans maybe, but I'm going to skip the gathering if they do, b/c I think my legs would die lol....maybe going to see Shrek 2 tomorrow though.
-I'm out of things to say lol
bye!

I still don't have time to update...but it doesn't really matter because I probably don't remember half of what's happened since my last update anyway. I'm in a bad mood....so I decided to blog to rant for a while even though I don't really know if I want to rant openly...I've been ranting to Corey and Anna anyway...I'm crazily-over-emotional lately; it's insane...I swear the smallest things make me just want to cry...I've felt like crying all day today and I don't really have good reasons for it...My stomach hurts because I think the medicines I've been on are bothering it, so I've felt rather sick for a while now, but it got a lot worse today, though I've felt sick for the last week or so, especially in the car...and I don't get car sick, at least not that easily, not just sitting there for like 2 minutes...ugh. so i'm not feeling so great...and ive still had crazy headaches, so I switched back from the presciption stuff to advil for a few days, a higher dosage b/c the doctor said it was ok, but since it's making me more sick, i guess i'd better switch back...i cant concentrate anymore and its driving me crazy...I don't have a clue what we're doing in math right now, which means i'm going to fail the quiz tomorrow unless Scotty or someone can explain it to me at lunch, but the lack of caring I have about my grades is surprising too...i've given up in science, i dont care what happens as long as i do decent enough on the final to have an A, which should be fine since I had a good average 1st quarter. My padeia project is going to suck, and I have to present it tomorrow...the powerpoint's cool, but the itenerary isn't at all up to my standars, but everytime I try to fix something, it just makes my head spin even worse...it's like, I want to care, but most of me is just like "screw it." And oh great now my left hand is starting to hurt again as I type this...It'd better not go to the right one again, I refuse to let it be hurt during exams. I'm worried about people again...its nothing like last year in the type of problems or anything, but i'm really worried...I'm also rather annoyed w/my parents b/c of the beach situation...I decided to stop pretending that it's some big treat for me to go to the beach every year...i've been putting on a happy face there since like 7th grade. I hate it. If i could have some company, I'd be fine, but I'm sick of how they call it a "nice family vacation" and yet its NOT family-related except that we all travel in the same car (where we sleep anyway) and stay in the same condo (also primarily for sleep). during the day, my brother hangs out w/a bunch of his friends and my parents sit and read and talk on the beach. i either listen to the plots of zelda games as told by an 11 year old (massive details, he'll take hours to get through describing one game) or sleep/stay in bed so they think i'm asleep long enough so they'll go down to the beach and I can get on the computer. They got my hopes up w/the idea of them going while I'm at ASP this year, and plans changed. So basically, it's ASP for a week, the week after Corey goes to scout camp, then I'm at the beach for a week, then he's at marching band for two weeks...Guess who doesn't want to go a month without seeing her boyfriend? *raises hand* And I wouldn't even get to talk to him until hes in mb camp (b/c he's probably going to be gone the week I'm at the beach unless he has an excuse not to go to his relative's), and that's all day long and he'd be exausted by the time he's home...So I'm trying to convince my parents to let him come with us to the beach. Heh-heh not working well. *sulks* I don't care how "immature" it's going to look, they're going to have to sit there and watch me hate the trip this year if I'm alone all the time again. I have nothing against the beach itself, and I think I'd have a lot of fun if Corey was there...I just don't like being alone that much. it sucks. and my parents want me to have fun, yet...yeah. *growls* And I still feel like crying...what is WITH this crazy emotional-ness? I just want to go burry my head in a pillow and cry...and I feel pathetic but it's true...I hurt physically and emotionally and I'm worried about things and I feel like I can't do anything lately...And then there's the whole kidney-falling-apart thing that everyone's been noticing...I know I haven't been to many gatherings lately, but that doesn't mean I want the group to collapse...even at lunch, its just crazy to see how much we've changed...you know, aside from an occasional hug from Dave before school if I happen to see him, I only get hugs from Corey now? Not that that's a bad thing to be hugged by him of course, it's just...everyone used to hug. Everytime I saw any Kidney stone, I was pretty much guarenteed a hug...and it's just weird now. And it's my bedtime.

Weee new Blogger stuff...I'll have to explore the new features later though b/c I have very little time to update...not that a lot has happened in the last few days anyway lol.

Sunday was Mother's Day...so we went out to dinner and such...and didn't do much the rest of the day...oh except watched the Survivor finale which *brags* I predicted a bunch of stuff on and got to feel special lol...Including the fact that someone else will get a million dollars, that Rob would get rid of Rupert before Jenna, Rob and Amber would be the final two, and that Amber would win :-D I love Rupert and everything, but I think Rob and Amber were better players...honestly Rob was the best but oh well...and they're getting married! Hehe my mom predicted that one waaaay back earlier in the season...so it was prediction day around here. Yesh.

Funny how I don't remember what I did yesterday. Oh well.

Today I discovered that I heard Mr. Cooper wrong in Padeia...I thought we had today and tomorrow in the library but it's next week...gah...I have some serious work to do, especially since it's a group project that I'm doing by myself *makes mental note to call Mahitha to ask for ideas since my project is on India* I know I'd better get the project done without waiting till the last minute so I'd rather be done this weekend...however...probably shopping on Friday afternoon...then I really want Corey to be able to come over^^ Saturday I have a dress rehersal and then the band concert, and Sunday is the recital. So I'm wishing hard for some light homework tomorrow and Thursday. Oh and Thursday (or tomorrow, depending) I'm going to the chiropractor...and I got an orthopedist appointment for next Thursday, so I'll either skip band or leave partway through it.

Tonight was our last dance class before the recital...so most of our class went out to dinner at 5 and then we had several hours to kill...and one of the girls is err not very happy with two of the other girls in our class, so that made things a little tense...but Megan and I went bead-browsing hehe so that was cool...and then we worked like crazy in class so now I'm exausted and my legs are nice and shaky hehe. But I drank like 15 oz of water so Anna can be proud of me hehe.

That's about it for now...byeeee!

Sunday, May 09, 2004

Hrm...I'm bored. I'm really tired too, but I don't feel like going to bed yet...and I have very little to say but I needed something to do so I decided to blog!
Let's see...Today...I worked a lot on a scrapbook I'm making for my friend that's moving back to India soon...It's almost done now. I just need a picture of the two of us together now (most of the pictures are from middle school) for the cover, and one to put at the end...which I have to credit Mom for her good idea: Mahitha gave me a giant catipillar stuffed animal (litterally, it's longer than I am!) that says "Best Friends For Ever Ever Ever Ever..." and the "ever"s continue for each little piece of the catipillar...so Mom's going to take a picture of me holding the catepillar so that the words on it can be read...and I'll put it on the page that I'm using for lots of "I'll miss you!" and "keep in touch!" stuff. It's going to be really hard to see her leave though...even though I've hardly gotten to see her this last year...I can't believe I'm going to see the 3rd Harry Potter movie without her. We've seen all of them together...discussed all the books for hours on end...when the 5th book came out, we finished within half an hour apart from eachother, immediately called eachother, and discussed it for several hours just that night, more following over the next few days. Not that we're only friends for sake of Harry Potter or anything, but we talk about it soooo much that anything Harry Potter related is going to feel really strange without her...along with many other things. I'm doing my world civ/english project (we have to pick a country to visit for 10 days) on India because I was supposed to go with her there the summer after 8th grade...unfortunately, most of the things we had planned don't really work with the project requirements, but a few do, so it'll be fun, despite making me miss her even more...especially when the main reason we became friends was this same project in 6th grade...except we went to another country and it's really bothering me that I can't remember where we went...but anyway, we were partners on that and got to know eachother through it. I'm going to miss having such an "innocent" friend around too...nothing against the others at all, but she's one of my few friends that hasn't been exposed to some of the things the rest of us have...and while it makes it a little harder to relate to eachother, it's nice to be around someone like that sometimes.

Anyway...between that and not having chocolate and my shoulder and neck and head and chest and legs and arms killing me, I've been a little cranky...especially today, since I think I'm in as much pain now as I was before I started the prescription medicine, and now my left arm really hurts again, when I thought that had gotten better. I'm bad enough around my friends, and I'm sorry guys, I know I've snapped at just about all of you lately for something that didn't deserve it...My family's gotten the worst part of it though...My parents are the kind of people you have to tell something several times for them to really get it or remember it sometimes...not something they can help, and I'm usually used to it, but it's bugging me lately, as is pretty much every other tiny detail...It's not like I'm unhappy about things, I'm just...cranky lol. I had to try hard to not blow up at Ashley the other day when she was complaining about how she wasn't allowed to drink soda because of some medicine she was taking...yet she sat there drinking a coke or something...and then got a really bad stomachache. I mean, it wasn't a smart idea, but it didn't mean she should've been lectured by me for it...though I think I decently contained myself. I talked to Matt a while last night and when he brought up a touchy subject...it made me glad that conversation was online. Let's just say I'm still not over the death paranoia.

Mom's going to make an orthopedist appointment for me soon...I want to find out if there's anything else I can do now or even anything later...You know, it'd be very interesting if it was possible for me to have the surgery earlier than we think I can, if I can even have it at all...because sometime in the near-ish future (like, within a year probably) I'm going to have to get my wisdom teeth out...because they're litterally growing in sideways lol; I saw the x-ray and it amused me...but yeah, my brother's did that too, and so do a lot of other people's, so it's not a big deal, but they need to be taken out...and if you've ever seen people for like a week or two after they get their wisdom teeth taken out...Let's just say, I earned the right to call my brother "chipmunk cheeks" for a while O:-) so I'm just trying to imagine myself with giant, puffy cheeks, and an arm...I guess in a sling or something...I don't really know what they'd need to do for it...depending exactly what they'd need to do for the surgery...because I guess if they had to replace part of the joint, they'd have to tear through muscle, but I can't imagine they'd put me in a cast for it because they'd probably want a lot of physical therapy done. I guess I'll find out though...It sounds icky either way, but I want the sugery unless there's another way to fix the problem...The idea of having problems caused by it for the rest of my life scares me a lot...Some math teacher I'd be if I randomly had to wear arm braces for a while, some mom I'd make if it hurt to pick up my kid, or even set him/her on my lap because my legs hurt.

I'm sorry for making some of you guys worried, but when I'm scared I talk about things a lot because I'd rather have them out in the open and have hugs from you guys...but feel free to tell me to shut up if I'm really bothering you when I start talking about things. I love every one of you sooooo much, and I'm sorry for everytime I've yelled at any of you, especially lately...and I'll give you fair warning; it might be a while before I get back to not being so cranky...but sometimes I do it without realizing it, so feel free to tell me I'm being cranky lol, maybe it'll make me stop and think for a second rather than jumping into an argument so easily.

You know...I really want my SAT scores back. I can get them online this Friday... *sits and waits* They don't get mailed until the 24th but apparently u can get them the 14th online for free or on the phone for $8...I've also noticed that I've been really impatient lately lol. (hrm...maybe that's why I miss Corey so much? nah...I always miss him "corazily" hehe <3<3<3) Yay internet^^

I've discovered that sometimes I can learn concepts of Algebra during math quizzes...luckily. Lol I've hardly been able to pay attention in there lately...I'm either almost falling asleep or hurt enough that it's hard to concentrate, or both...Lol the other day my head kept nodding forward and my neck would get a nice stabbing pain that'd wake me up. Anyway...I'm going to try to figure out the stuff we've done this week since I have a test on Wednesday...but I can get a 68.25 or higher and still have a 92.5 without adding the points from the compency test...which we still haven't gotten back (there goes the impatient-ness again...) so I figure I'll live. Too many formulas >< Give me a word problem any day so I can create my own equation...wow I bet I'm one of few people that would say that. Then again, I loved geometry, so go figure.

Tomorrow is mothers day...and the Survivor season finale...so I'm not going to be on after 8 tomorrow lol. Believe it or not, I'm kinda hoping Rob or Amber will win...as cool as Rupert is, Rob and Amber have played the game a lot better (despite the whole "let me make out with you so you won't vote for me" thing hahaha to Anna's profile)...and I'm really currious to see what the "big surprise" is because there's supposed to be something really crazy that happens that no one knows about ahead of time...watch it be like two people get the million dollars...

*yawns* Well, I decided I'd go to bed by 12:30 tonight...and since it's 12:52 maybe I should actually go. G'night!

*finds survey-like thingie, stolen from melissa h*

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:  uhhh the closest book was the mac's manual...and it says "Note: If your desktop looks absolutely nothing like this-no menus, no icons, almost nothing on th eDock-then somebody in charge of your Mac has turned on Simple Finder mode for you" lol
2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?: a letter from UNC-CH, not that'd I'd ever go there, but the letter's on the desk anyway.
3. What is the last thing you watched on TV?: Survivor...unless you'd count "Urban Cowboy" since it was technically on the TV this afternoon...via the DVD player anyway...didn't watch much anyway though ;-D
4. Without Looking!, guess what time it is: 9:45
5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?: 9:51
6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?: that's about it lol...maybe the air conditioning
7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?: uhh...in the walmart parkinglot like an hour ago b/c we went mother's day/computer table shopping
8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at: most of the links over there -->
9: What are you wearing?: jeans and a purple tye-dye-ish shirt

10: Did you dream last night?: yes and i've been going CRAZY today b/c i can't remember what it was about!
11: When did you last laugh?: when corey was over here this afternoon^^
12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?: paint. very plain, boring paint. Just wait til I'm in college...I'm goint to go wild with random stuff just to make it anti-boring. yay colors!
13: Seen anything weird lately?: uhh, I'd have to say the bit of Urban Cowboy I payed a slight bit of attention to was rather odd
14: What do you think of this quiz?: better than being bored just sitting here!
15: What is the last film you saw?: Urban Cowboy
16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?: put enough aside for college and some savings...then...umm...I dunno.
7: Tell me something about you that I don't know: lol depends who you are that's reading this?
18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do? mmm...how about world peace at last? despite how corny and steriotypical it sounds, wouldn't it be nice?
19: Do you like to dance?: only if its pre-coreographed. i cant just dance randomly
20: George Bush: is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?: I'm not incredibly fond of him...but I'm not exactly really into politics so i'm not going to completely criticize him...but he definitly has some major policies that I dissagree with. Too many of his policies are based off the Christian religion, and even though I'm a christian, I don't think it's fair to say we have freedom of religion in the US and then restrict rights for only religious reasons (ex: gay marriages aren't against all religions)
21a: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?: Mmm...I've always really liked Elizabeth or Emily...but I'd have to be in the situation to decide for sure...and my husband would need to have some imput?
21b: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him? Same circumstances as above, but I like David and Michael
22: Would you ever consider living abroad?: mmm...maybe, as long as it was in an English-speaking country...but only if I had certain people with me ;-) For now I'm quite content to say in the USA though!

Wow that was short. Update-ness now I guess...

Complaints first to get them over with: My shoulder hurts...my back hurts...and my neck hurts. And that's with me on prescription anti-inflamitory/pain killers now...growl. I did the first round of weight lifting yesterday...and basically scared myself at how hard it was...we don't have light-weight free weights, so I only did the part of the exercises I'm supposed to do on the weight machine...and it was only set on 10 lbs and it was HARD and after like 2 times of pushing the arm thingies, I was shaking. I couldn't make it through one leg lift, also on 10 lbs, which I only did out of curriosity, not a requirement, without my legs shaking like crazy. I used to be able to do 30 lbs on my legs without too much trouble when i was in 6th grade and I was a fat, out of shape little kid back then...and yet now I can hardly handle 10 lbs!? I've made it quite clear to Mom that if surgery becomes an option in a few years, I want to do it. Depending what happens the next few weeks, we might go see an orthopediest soon to get an oppinion...and the guy I'd go to is pretty cool from what I've heard...considering he's treated my dad and my brother quite a lot, he knows us all pretty well...lol our family's medical problems are so screwed. Anyway, so today my shoulders and neck felt awful...and now my neck is having a muscle spazzm >< ok now it stopped...anyway...Band was the worst. It's amazing how much it can kill my shoulder to have my left arm raised up to play my clarinet...especially when that's added to having to push down the keys. I don't know how much longer it'll bother me this much though, and I slacked off in band so much when my arms were in braces (I helped Melissa A. make copies most of the period) so I don't want to tell Mr. Rowe that it hurts to play...I've already done that at other times this semester, with the dizzyness stuff and when the chest pains were really bad...He keeps talking about how so many people don't put enough effort into our band class and such...and we have a concert the 15th...so I have to play. Grrr.

Ok, now for the fun stuff. Just random stuff that happened in school the last few days that amused me:
-A guy in our padeia class did his ode to "wood"...and uhh it wasn't exactly in that sense. *cracks up* Our class was dying with laughter...he litterally had everything from something about it "always sticking straight up"...to something about how it grew from "a small sappling like a pine or oak" into how "huge it is today"...to "It attracts crowds like sugar attracts ants." I was surprised Mr. Ferguson let him finish it, but I think he was laughing with the rest of us lol.
-The guy's chorus T-Shirts are pink and say "Real men wear pink" on them! I saw one this morning and was like "I HAVE TO TELL ANNA!!!" and I think Melissa H. thought I was insane lol.
-In math today, Thomas amused me by making the comment "This class is like a bowl of cereal...and I am the milk." (-gasp- AN ANALOGY THAT WASN'T RELATED TO SPORTS!)Then he went on to explain how he completed the class because cereal needed milk...and the class got into an argument about how really you could have cereal without the milk...finally Additi (sp) settled it by saying "Well some of us are lactose intolerant" which even made Ms. Sweeny laugh.

That's all I can think of for now...hehe now onto today:

After school, Corey rode home with me, and we stopped at Blockbuster to get a movie...and it was "my turn" to pick...which I'm really bad at...So I asked Mom for sugestions but she went next door for a minute while Corey and I looked...He found something he said was pretty funny so we were going to get that, but Mom was like "No, don't get something stupid" so we looked some more...same to the next sugestion...They didn't have some of the ones she sugested, but we ended up with Urban Cowboy...oh my gosh...lol you can tell it's sad when I hardly saw 5 minutes of that movie and later Mom asked me how it ended because she forgot since she saw it ages ago...yet I could tell her the ending...and she thinks I know the whole movie *giggles innocently* yesh. So Corey and I had much fun, despite the scary-ness of a weird western movie lol...I discovered a new way to tickle him :-D which makes me happy because it works better than the old ways and he can't restrain me as well :-D Lol and Anna called while he was over...omgsh I bet she thinks I was acting really weird because I probably sounded really spacy lol...Corey was errr distracting me :-D no complaints hahaha ;-) I reaaaaaally didn't want him to have to leave...I felt like clinging to him forever and ever, but he had to go home to get ready for his dad to come pick him up :-(

Then I had a nice fun argument with my Dad about dinner...because he KNOWS which resturants I don't really like because I can only get a salad, so as we tried to figure out where to go he kept saying "well we could go here except you don't like it...or we could go here except you don't like it..." but that ended fairly quickly so it was ok. Then we found a computer desk so I can use the mac more comfortably (even though I'm on it now, just not in a good position) and went Mother's Day shopping...and then I came home and got online lol. I'm supposed to sneak the Mother's Day stuff upstairs soon and wrap it while Mom's asleep...and I need to go take a shower...but I felt like blogging and I wanted to see if Corey was going to get on but it's late-ish so I doubt it. I miss my Corey already *sniffles* Is it really pathetic that I saw him like 5 hours ago and I already miss him? *shrugs* This afternoon was by far the highlight of my week...so now it needs to be next Friday so I can see him again outside of school (*hopes*) though it can also be any weekday so I can see him in school at least a tiny bit. <3<3<3<3<3

Hey there...wow it feels like ages since I've blogged! I'm surprised I haven't had the blog nazis attacking me...but I guess I've had some excuses lol...now time for some catching up!

Friday night was Davey's party...Anna and I have basically decided that's his name now lol...anyway, we finally got to reveal the latest evil plan! See Marc, we're not ALWAYS scheming against you! hehehe. Anyway...Anna and I spent each afternoon of the week before the party working on the present...A t-shirt and a CD holder. Just for the fact that I was determined to make him a shirt, and Anna wanted to paint something wooden, and I wouldn't let her get a rocking horse. Yesh. Hehehe so we wrote "I bite on the first date (...or before...)" on the front with a mouth with fangs in it, and on the back it says "My name isn't James...It's DAVEY" and "I'm a kidney stone!" with a picture of a kidney...with a smiley face on it...yesh we're weird! Anyway, between that and getting to spraypaint and paint the CD holder with metalic silver and tourquoise-ish paint, we had much fun, and it made Dave smile...so yay for that! The party was much fun...we watched the video Dave and Dilly made about attacking an orange, which had us all cracking up...some people DDRed...we watched "Real Men Don't Wear Plaid" and I don't think any of us followed along enough to have a clue what happened lol, but it was still fun! I had to leave early, so I missed the "I never" game afterwards...probably not entirely a bad thing lol.

The next morning I got up early and went to broughton to take the SATs...much fun, especially with two wrist braces, oh yesh. It wasn't too bad though...the math was decent, so I only left two answers blank, which were just the fill in type, because I didn't have time to finish, but I was decently confident on the rest. The english was kinda hard...but then again, my vocabulary is awful, so that's a good reason for me to struggle with it lol. A lot of the words from the vocab tests this year were on it though...don't forget those! There's one word they kept using over and over again that I couldn't remember what it meant...even though it's not an uncommon word, I just had a mental blank lol...oh well. Maybe sometime I'll remember what the word was lol so I can look it up before I take it again...I swear at least 5 questions used it! I ended up leaving like 4 english questions blank...blah. It'll be nice when they add the grammer section...though I dread the essay part...and they're killing the analogies, which makes me sad because I'm better at those than the evil reading comprehension things where like half of them say "what would the author of passage 1 likely feel about the point made in paragraph 5 of passage 2?" and on one of them the author of passage one was NEUTRUAL so I had no idea what I was talking about lol. Yes. Anyway...

After that I went to a crazy-long dance class...we cleaned up a lot of the routine though, which is good since our recital is the 16th! Ahh! And our rehersal is the 15th, just before the band concert...I'm determined to make both though, because missing dress rehersal=baaaaad because we're so used to having a mirror and that's the first time we practice without one! And I'm really bad about watching other people in the mirror lol. Oh well...Hehe, I guess I'd better learn what I'm doing, because Corey wants to come...

Saturday night, Corey came over^^ and we watched Twister on TV...not a bad movie, though I haven't the slightest idea how it ended...O:-) no complaints though! :-D hehehe...so we had much fun...<3<3<3<3<3 x insanely huge number to Corey^^

Sunday...I don't remember what I did during the day...but that night we had our final youth meeting :-( which was fun but sad at the same time. We basically got to do whatever we wanted, so our group played cards lol...mostly because Melissa wanted to, it was the only thing I could do with my wrist braces, and the foosball table was insanely crowded (sorry Marc!) Then we had dinner...and ice cream :-D which made me happy even though I'm not supposed to have it lol, but I had vanilla and it didn't bother me so too bad :P Then we watched a slideshow of the year...it got a lot of laughs as well as "aww"s from me...I didn't even realize some of those pictures had been taken! Omgsh, there's one of some of us at the kick off singing kareoke (sp) and a bunch of Godspell ones...including ones with our mouths wide open hahaha...and some from the Hatteras trip. So we had much fun overall^^ and I'm going to go with Anna and Ally and *pokes Rachel* some others (?) to rehersals this summer for the youth band, even though I'm not in it, because they said we could just come sing and then do a bible study afterwards. It's once a week on Mondays, I think 6-8 or something like that...sounds like fun.

I can't remember what I did Monday.

Tuesday I went to the chiropractor...listed about a million symptoms for him...and so he decided to take xrays. Well...I went back yesterday to get the results...and they didn't exactly make me very happy. A couple of different things...first of all, my left shoulder apparently has something wrong with it that's most likely been there since birth. The bone in my arm that connects to my shoulder comes up too high, which means there's a smaller gap between that bone and another one than there should be...so there's less tissue between them than there should be. That's why my shoulder makes clicking sounds when I move my arm...the bones don't quite touch, but they almost do, so they sorto f grind agaisnt eachother. So when I raise my arm, instead of the muscles in my back contracting normally, they have to do something kind of weird that I don't really understand but point being they contract differently than they do when I raise my right arm. It makes things kinda imbalanced...which has caused an S curve in my back...like scoliosis but not in the form you'd usually think of it, because my muscles continually pull on it. Apparently that's the cause of my wrist problems too. The tension it causes in my spinal cord causes nerves to do something weird (yes I know you med-science people are going to kill me, but I don't know what you call this stuff) that causes pain and weakness in my arms. The S curve is only in the top half-ish of my spine...the bottom is really straight actually...except one place near the bottom is really off, so that the vertebrea is sort of twisted, because it's balancing out my upper spine. Wow I'm almost out of time so I'm going to speed through the rest of this...that can cause the same kind of thing to happen to my legs, which is why I get crazy muscle spazzms and shaky legs that hurt and such. Then theres my neck. Think of it this way...if my face is facing <-- that way, my neck should look kinda like C except not quite so rounded. Mine looks like \ that. It doesn't curve. So the top vertebrea is doing all the adjusing, which means it's basically tilted.
Point of why this is making me mad: this isn't likely to go away or be able to be fixed. Possibility of surgery but not for a few years if ever...otherwise I get to live w/this stuff and get chiropractic treatment periodically for the rest of my life. ANd i get to do weight lifting lol. and I g2g. gnight!
