Time to blooooooooooog!
Hrm...since last time...umm...Thursday was Christmas! Yep...I got a ps2 (WHICH MEANS I CAN WATCH DVDS IN MY PLAYROOM NOT JUST STEALING MY BROTHERS!!! Haha, sorry, I know very little about video games and didn't realize a ps2 works as a dvd player!) and ddr and promises of getting to pick out some adorable new pajamas (because I wanted to pick them out)...hehe which I did a few days later...yay for Hello Kitty and Muppets! Hehe...oh, my parents gave my brother and me each one of those radio pen thingies...which greatly amuses me...because from what I can tell, the main purpose would be to use it in class and the teacher just thinks you're clicking the ink thing when really you're changing stations...haha...Oh, and the other funny Christmas story: Never try to explain DDR to your grandmother. "So, can you put it on different modes to learn the waltz and the tango?" *falls over laughing*
Oh, also on Christmas, my cousin asked a girl to marry him...I just thought that was really sweet, on Christmas hehe...but OMG they're getting married in three months! How on earth do you plan a wedding in three months? I think it might be so they can have their honeymoon over spring break though, because she's a teacher...what is it with all my cousins marrying teachers lately? lol! Anyway, I don't really know my cousin-in-law-to-be (does all of that go in dashes? I have no idea) since pretty much our whole family met her for the first time at my other cousin's wedding over Thanksgiving break...but she seems nice and I can see her being a really good teacher...I forget exactly what she teachers, some type of high school math though...
Anyway, that brings me to my next topic...Teaching! Yes...urm...yeah, I still want to teach, but my mom brought up the idea of me teaching math instead of english the other day...and it's kinda got me thinking...I mean, I'm decent in English and I really like it, but I don't know if I could really make it fun and interesting...and in all honesty, I'm not sure that I could use spelling and grammer well enough to teach it, haha. So I've been thinking about teaching math...I do a lot of helping when my friends are having trouble in math classes, and since they come back again for more help, I guess I'm decent at teaching it? I think I'd be fine teaching an advanced class, but I don't know how well I'd do with the kids who really just don't get math...I dunno...Then there's "which math?" because I'd have to pick a level...I'm one of those crazy people who absolutely loved geometry, but I'm positive I wouldn't want to teach it hahaha...sooo many people have trouble catching on to it, and I'd get fed up trying to explain proofs when my mind tells me to skip so many steps...So I'm thinking maybe pre-algebra or algebra 1...and I can be better than my algebra teacher in at least one way-DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE THE FINAL EXAM TO TEACH THE QUADRATIC EQUATION!!! Sorry, but I have yet to understand that logic (*sends ESP message to Mahitha and my yearbook teacher who also taught math, both of whom were nice enough to teach me the things that my teacher left out of that course*) Ok, back to regular stuff about what I've done lately haha...
Most of the last week or so I've just sat around the house doing nothing...working on completely organizing my closet (major clean out-I seriously think I have about half as many clothes in there now, and I put so many books in storage that now I can fit all my books on one shelf)...I got a sinus infectiong because my brother had one...Go figure, I manage to ward off the flu and strep and all that stuff during school, while surrounded by people with the illnesses pretty much constantly...yet my brother comes home sick, I'm hardly around him at all, and I catch it. Bah. Oh well, caught it nice and early...which made me very very wary of going to the doctors, because there're so many germs there now with flu season and everything...and the stupid urgent care place puts everyone in one tiny waiting room so ur like 3 feet away at most from the person across from you who's coughing their head off...yeah, that was my closterphobic time! Lol...anyway...got those fun antibiotics, so I'm not contageous anymore, yay!
I got to go bowling today, which meant I saw friends for the first time since last Tuesday (Corey) and Monday (a bunch of people)...I would've gotten to see them yesterday, but *cough cough* since no one bothered to call me and tell me a group was going to the movies, I stayed home and cleaned my closet some more. Anyway, bowling was fun...I was insanely hyper and scary...Oh, and we had a giant group...Marc decided we needed to meet his Broughten friends and compete against them, so between the Apex/Cary/one Enloe person crowd and the Broughten ones, there were probably somewhere around 20-25 people. Wee! And we got to use bumpers! :-D haha and I still got an 88, I'm horrible but it's fun so that's ok...especially since Anna was my good luck charm! *giggles* that means she poked the ball every time it was my turn to transfer some of her skills into it. Yay Anna!
That's about all for the week...'cept I miss Corey SOOOOOOOOO MUCH and I can't stop thinking about him...he has limited computer time at his dads, so I don't get to talk to him nearly enough, not that any time less than always would be enough anyway...He'll be back Wednesday and I get to see him then! I'm litterally counting down the hours...He has a countdown going on his cell phone...I could probably find a way to do that online, but I'm a dork and keep figuring it out by hand because it's usually late at night so I don't feel like looking for a calculator haha...*lazy* hrm, how long is it now? *calculates* 44 hours, 40 minutes *dies, but keeps eyes open to glare at clock so it'll hurry up and say it's Wednesday at 7:30* @_@
OH AND ANNA AND I DEFINITLY DON'T HAVE ANOTHER EVIL PLAN! O:-) :-x 8-) :-D
