I have a few minutes during creative writing to write this and I'm bored and I can't figure out what to write my story on but it's not due for a week so I'm writing here instead. Wow that's a long sentence. Oh well.
No Corey news...but I don't think I want to talk about that stuff anyway.
I got a phone call from North Carolina Wesleyan College last night, which is a close 2nd to UNCW on my list of possible places I want to go...and I got in...and I got a $12,000 scholarship, which is really cool. It might be increased to $16,000, depending on my interview that will be set up soon, and that's full tuition. With a $12,000 scholarship there and nothing at UNCW, they're about the same price (because Wesleyan's room and board are a little more expensive...but omg the dorm rooms are sooo nice and they have sinks in the room and don't ask why that's so cool but it really is) so...and I like both of them...so I don't know what I want to do yet. I'm still doing other scholarship stuff and I really wish I could go somewhere with a lot of my friends but no one I know wants to go to Wesleyan and only like two people are considering UNCW. So I'm kinda excited to be able to say I got a big scholarship but since I don't even know if I'll accept it, it's kinda strange feeling. I figure I'll go in for the interview as if Wesleyan is absolutely the school I want to go to, act really, act really excited about it, and hopefully my enthusiasm will help me get that full scholarship. I can always turn it down if I decide to go to UNCW, and someone else will get the money instead.
Pilgrimage is tomorrow...I'm glad. I miss church stuff since I haven't been in forever and we haven't even had a real youth service in a while. I'll be gone all weekend, but I'm kinda glad, because I think getting away from the house would probably be good for me right now anyway.
