Quick update:
I told Mom about my idea of going into youth ministry...and she was surprised but took it better than I expected. She just said to find out exactly what it involves, so I have an appointment set up with Lee (the new youth minister) on Thursday.
I'm exempt from all my exams^^ including physics.
I drove again and I still haven't crashed lol. I'm going to try to get my permit sometime this week if I have time.
Going to Wesleyan on Wednesday to look around the town and such...I also told my parents that that's where I want to go to school.
This was a fun long weekend. I went out with Davey and Hannah T. Saturday afternoon. We went out for lunch, determined that chickens do in fact have feathers, and then we went to see the Broughton play. It was cute, and I was glad to get to see the Broughton people, even for only a few minutes. Then we randomly went to the Toychest (the toy store I used to love when I was younger). Oh and we had a sort of contest in the car to see how long we could make Hannah laugh, which was really amusing.
Then I went home for a while and then over to Rachel's. I got to see John (a friend of Rachel's from middle school that now goes to Leesville I think) for the first time since I think 6th grade maybe? or 7th? So that was cool lol. We were the Pictionary champs of the evening haha. I found out that Andrew and Leslie are in my Stat class, which is nice. Jonathan is in there with us too.
Yesterday was Matt's eagle ceremony. Ahh running out of time so sorry but the details of that get to be left out-it was a nice ceremony though. I told Lauren she was my witness to tell Matt's mom that I ate something at the reception (she has this thing about how I never eat anything even though I do lol) and apparently she actually went up to her and told her after I left lol. I'm currious to hear her response because it's kind of our ongoing joke. Then I had part of youth, but I left early to do childcare. I was with another lady and we were watching a set of triplets (two boys, one girl) and another girl. I expected the triplets to be a handful, but it was actually really really easy. They colored for a few minutes, then watched a movie (like, actually watched-they hardly even talked during it), and then played with Legos. So the lady and I pretty much spent the whole time talking about college (she went to Wesleyan for night school a few years ago, off campus, but still) and how I should write a letter to the school telling them not to play rap music at prom lol. It was kind of random but she was really nice. Oh and then I signed up to go to Mississippi over spring break to help clean up from Hurricane Katrina.
K almost bedtime...gnight!
